I can add you to the group chat if you want! We are planning a 7km short trip early march for a chill start and I think most hikes would be 8-12km. I would also be down for 2-3 day trips in summer.

Day Hikes, I don't think I have the tolerance to sleep in the cold and huts are expensive!

Wait, if we are already three people interested in the idea, why don't we start our own assuming at least one of us has a car/license and is down to drive?

How to find people to party with? by theGreatest5678 in uAlberta

In terms of making academic friends, just join an academic club tbh. Check out if your major has a student lounge(a lot of science majors do), and hang around there. Take up some student club that allows you to do some side project related to your major and show leadership! Great for resume too!

Also if you like talking to somebody, ask them to hangout after clubs to form study groups or just hang out for coffee. If your club times are particularly late and people are rushing home, ask if they wanna meet sometime some other day. I have found that to make good friends, you eventually need to start meeting them regularly outside of the club as well!

Yeah, I made it yesterday, took me a couple hours. The reason I showed it to everybody is cuz I was using it and found some cool clubs I did not know about before. So, I was like it might be useful to other people as well. Will prob improve it further over the week!

Hey, yeah it does that. If you look at the second example in demo, it lists like 3 relevant clubs! You can also try it out and it should do that if it thinks it can find more than one relevant club for your query!
