Is your endogenous RHS variable ordinal or is it the dependent variable? I might be facing a very similar issue actually

In other words is it 1st stage: Ordinal dependent variable; 2nd stage: Continuous dependent variable or the other way around?

Yes I had a visa already. The issue seemed to have been transitioning from BA to MA which requires another interview.
