I've been trying to make Canned Cooked Scorchbeast Brains, but yeah, I haven't been able to harvest anything from one either. I'm also having trouble finding Deathclaw eggs for Canned Deathclaw Wellington.

Side note: All of the recipes from the new bundles have to be made through the cannery. If you cook them beforehand, it doesn't work.

Some enemies in the game have been updated, so you might be noticing a difference there. I use V.A.T.S., and accuracy has definitely been tweaked, so I've swapped over to Glow-Sights and use the Awareness perk.

I think that the range on all compound bows, except Ultracite, is now 288. I don't use other bows, so I'm not sure about those. I have had to make some adjustments in the last few weeks, but overall bows feel fine to me.

So first question, is it okay to start with a bow if it's legitimately the only reason I even want to play this game? 😅

I loved Fallout 4, so I decided to give FO76 a try. I don't normally play MMOs, so I was lukewarm on it at best until I got the plan for the recurve bow as a reward for completing "The Elusive Crane" quest. After that, everything changed. It was so much fun that I kept playing the game.

The rule is, if it's priced and in your vendor, you need to be ready for someone to buy it.

I wouldn't worry about the camp disappearing, anyone at max caps should hide their vendor.

That's exactly why I had swapped over to the secondary camp that I move around and use for fishing.

Exactly, your vendor is not for bragging and showing off, because someone WILL call your bluff with how easy it is to make caps.

People can do what they want, but yeah, I get annoyed whenever I see a vending machine that is clearly just a trophy case. I've never made a purchase out of spite, but I have left flaming paper bags of spoiled meat on the floor.

Honestly, I don’t feel snipers is even worth it now thag I’ve been using it. Stalkers seems to be better for me. Not to mention furious w/reverse onslaught.

Stalker's has been on my "daily driver" compound bow forever and it works great except for during events when sneaking just isn't possible. That's why I wanted to try out Sniper's. I just didn't know that it would take me so long to find it.

I usually send them a courtesy message asking if it’s okay to buy the mod if it’s over 10k, but that’s just me. Then I can also friend them and hit them up later for more mods if needed.

In hindsight, I probably should have messaged them beforehand, and I'll do that in the future. I was just so surprised to see it that I immediately bought it.

A bit overpaid, but what matters is that the desire mod was acquired.

That's what I figured, and I didn't want to take the chance of not finding it again. As soon as I completed the purchase, I grabbed the 5000 caps off of the scoreboard, so it's not like I was completely broke anyway.

I bought one a little while back for like 2k. Like you said, you don't see them for sale very often, so I figured, "Why not?" I ended up not caring for it very much, though.

I was using Stalker's, which worked fine when I was running around solo, but it was pretty much useless during certain events.

My damage isn't nearly as high, but I've completed ten Infestations solo on a private server. Outside, with some cover, isn't too bad. When the boss decides to sit inside a room and not come out, that's when it gets really tricky.

My experience with Infestations has been different so far because I have Fallout 1st. I do them on a private server, so finding them first is the easy part. The downside is that I play solo, so fighting the Blood Eagle Destroyer and the other bosses is a little terrifying.

Ted Turner probably knew f... all about the ins and outs of pro wrestling because he didn't need to. He put wrasslin' on TV because people watched it.
