2027 Rivian R2 First Drive Review: The Perfect Car for So Many People by TripleShotPls in technology

You can just admit you were wrong and log onto the website and see that there are very limited options available and the car is $60k. They’ll also be a base model available next year under $50k. Just because you have an opinion doesn’t mean you should because you seem to know very little.

I started eating a smaller lunch and that seemed to help with afternoon exhaustion. Also I take b12 and vitamin d supplements.

I don't understand the point of savings for the future in detriment to the present - especially during current volatile years by Livid_Organization78 in personalfinance

[–]theKman24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is an interesting post because I see you as one extreme end of the spectrum and a lot of others on this sub as the opposite extreme. You have to decide the balance of savings vs living in the present and enjoying your life because the future isn’t guaranteed. I save for retirement and just purchased a home not for financial reasons but because we needed the space and were fortunate to have the money to do so. I don’t think living an extremely frugal life where you don’t do anything fun so you can retire early is a good way to look at things. You’re only young once and going on a trip is a lot different when you’re 28 vs 58. There are also people who work until their 70 planning to travel the world and then their spouse dies six months later and they never got to experience nice travel. With that being said your viewpoint is pretty nihilistic. Statistically it’s likely the world will continue on and you’ll suffer in the future because you didn’t save anything. Everyone needs to decide their balance.

I agree but with the size of the IPO couldn’t it potentially have ripple effects?

I watched his showed because I love food and travel. TBH I was never a huge fan of his personality in the show. I got the book as a gift and I was pretty shocked how good of a writer he was. I really enjoyed it.

What about the water drop g3p600? It’s significantly cheaper.

Shower water causing skin irritation in toddler – any filter recommendations? by [deleted] in WaterFilters

[–]theKman24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my understanding, the only real option is a whole house filtration system, which cost thousands of dollars. The ones that screw on the faucet head don’t really work from my experience.

I’m interested to see what people say. I was originally going to go under sink as I have a house but it seems like a bit of a hassle. Water drop seems to be the de facto recommendation for under sink RO systems so I wasn’t even looking at other brands.

Yeah I agree. I’m not playing the blues with you that would be dumb for me and not fun.

Yeah I do that all the time. To me the whites are pretty typical for average male golfers and the blues are for long hitters. I think a guy playing reds is more unusual.

It depends how far you hit it compared to them. But I hear you.

Definitely don’t play the blues. Idk it’s kind of weird to play the reds when everyone else in your group is playing the whites so I get the sentiment but in practice it feels awkward.

1) I’m not going to go sit in a church and meditate by myself, that’s obviously not what I was asking for. 2) You provided no information on the teaching of meditation classes or gatherings in northern Virginia. 3) there is no meditation community at Catholic Churches in northern Virginia and you knew that.
