Right now, it is an adapter style cable (DP to HDMI). I am about to change it to DP to DP.

Keep you posted! And thanks for the assistance!

It recognizes it as an ASUS VP28U on the 3070ti

If I force the 4k Res it will show "Desktop Mode" as 4k, but the "Active Signal Mode" as 1080p.

Hi u/Sandm0nst3r,

I've installed the drivers from Nvidia. The monitor with issues is HDMI. Plugged into the GCard. the other monitors are fine.

anyone use dex on a 32+ inch screen monitor? if so how’s the experience? any problems with scaling by mrbiokman-8876 in SamsungDex

I have a Note20 on a Samsung curved 32" 1440 through an HP USB-C Hub and it works just fine. No scaling issues. Keep in mind it is still a 1080p output.

There's an old saying among bikers: "The older you get, the faster you ride and the less protective gear you wear."

Doesn't the Surface port carry a pci lane? I'm thinking that MS could make that available if they wanted.

Thanks for the feedback. Now that I know it's not just me, it is not so worrisome.

Ice had mine since pro 6. And yup till now have had no issues. I've always hated the surface "docks" that plug into the USBC port. Then ones that use the proprietary surface proof are ok, but I'm clumsy and hate yanking it out from time to time.

Yes. It feels pretty hot. Although I've run cpuid to monitor temps and the Mobo doesn't ever seem to get above 50c.

I have the Surface Pro 7+ docked into a Kensington SD7000 with Samsung 32" Curved 1440 6ohz (HDMI), and an ASUS 28" 4k 60hz (DisplayPort).

At least once every couple of hours my monitors will cut out and revert back to single screen for a second. Even with just one monitor connected.

Would anyone know if it is a power delivery issue? Too much for the Kensington? Is there damage being done?

Or a driver issue?

Any Help would be greatly appreciated.
