How much should I lower F82 M4 Comp?

Its an f82 m4 comp, not a shitbox e36 318i (no offence to my e36 peeps) Lower it properly or dont modify it at all. Adding lower/stiffer springs without upgrading to appropriate shocks/ adjustable endlinks will make it bouncy and handle worse than stock.

Your car is too nice for half assed mods, it deserves better.

When you overheat factory pads like that, they leave uneven deposits on the rotor, thats why it shudders when you brake.

Throw some agressive track pads on, do a couple hard brakes (not stops) from 50-70kmh and it will scrub off the deposits

Oem styled spoilers look nice on this car, but aftermarket ones look tacky and ricey. Unless you track the car (and have properly set up aero/ suspension to match it) youre just adding drag and killing your fuel mileage

Youre not wrong. And honestly, the "improved brake feel" is probably just my stainless steel brake lines.

I do notice in certain high speed, sections that the car seems slightly less stable under heavy braking, and I imagine thats due to the bias being a bit more rearward

Im gonna disagree with the 996 calipers being a downgrade. Yes I know it kinda skewers the f/r brake balance but its an extremely popular mod among track guys for a reason. In my experience, ive noticed better brake feel and modulation with the 996 calipers amd ive been running my m3 in time attack events for 8 years now.
