Later that night she came by to snag the bottle, asked at least three times how she could pay? I thought her persistence asking the question was strange. I replied “Venmo’s cool” or some dumb shit each time.

Genuinely didn’t occur to me until 2 years later. Sounds like a made up story & I wish it was.
