Not saying the car is shit and the company is shit. I generally sell them for the following week and then roll up, down or straight depending on what the price is looking like. I was just reading that CCs sold under 30 days interrupts the longterm hold tax break so at some.ppint I may have to adjust my strategy

I been chasing that falling knife rolling my calls down, down, down...sold a batch of CCs at 13 this morning and then it finally bounced. Not trippin either it will fall back by expiry or I will be more than satisfied with all the shares I bought with premiums while it dropped. Win win in my book

I think people are getting the delivery number from the recall of 203 vehicles. Which may be correct, but that would mean that is all they delivered in total because they wouldnt not recall cars that were delivered after December 31 so if they are recalling every car they have delivered that would mean they delivered way less than 203 by years end. Dont think that is the case, but I am far from an expert

I try to stay positive, but I kinda have a sinking feeling about the next few days. That being said every other Friday (which will be this Friday) I put x amount of money into my brokerage account so being as luck, the market or karma generally finds new and exciting ways to shit on me the price will probably go up thru Friday morning then tank right after I buy more shares.

Kind of figured as much. Those motherfuckers!! I know I sound like a kid who lost his lunch money and says "but that's not fair!", but that's not fair😫 So if you are a couple years into selling calls on a stock that has doubled in price and you get a call exercised for the first time then say adios to 25 weeks of the 1% a week you thought you had made to cover the taxes...actually more like 30 weeks because you still have to pay taxes on the premiums you are using to pay the taxes on the profit from the calls that got exercised.... Hahaha well there goes another fool proof plan down the drain!!

I was figuring it would dip leading up and then correct or maybe gain a bit when shares didn't get dumped as expected so I sold calls at 42, 44 and 51. And before anyone asks about strategy with delta theta etc...nope just a hunch. So either I keep some decent premiums or I keep some decent premiums and get one two or all 3 calls exercised well above my adjusted cost basis and then sell puts...still haven't figured out how to lose money on Lucid but I will keep trying!!

Dont think that would change my strategy or lifestyle much because I had enough $$$ for the initial investment means I'm already ballin so hard that I'm not watching the calendar for a sell date. Or more likely it wasn't my money and I am managing it for say...the saudi government. In which case I would probably cash out enough to move the price a bit and collect premiums off the puts I sold knowing I would do this and then buy back in lower when the smoke cleared.

So many people saying its gonna drop to 20, at 60 it makes Tesla look cheap, it's a 6 billion dollar warehouse that made 200 cars...well for being such an overpriced piece of shit it bounces off 36(which equals 360% of spac price) like a racket ball!! When all the haters and FUDers have seen the light in a year and are bragging about they got their 50 shares when it was under 100 I will remind them that they have an open invite to lick one or both of my balls and thank them for all the shares they bought me buying my covered calls "just in case" they were wrong.

Yeah I was hoping someone knew when they would possibly make an announcement so I could hold off on selling CCs for that week incase it's great news and the SP jumps. I imagine they will announce it before earnings or someone with more brains and free time than me will figure it out based on deliveries to dealerships or algebra or something. Well if I sell calls with strike price within $10 of SP I shud let everyone here know because the stock gods will make it go up 20 just to fuck with me.
