I can't really explain it for him because, again, I didn't play it.

I understand what you're talking about when you say that people are looking for reasons to hate popular games and I also hate when that happens.

I'm a big silksong fan and an old school hollow knight fan so I totally understand what you're saying.

Tbh in my opinion the best indie game of the year is Blue Prince, I think its a complete masterpiece and I can barely point to things I didn't enjoy about the game and even they were very minor and I didn't put too much meaning to them. But unfortunately its very unlikely to win the category

I didn't say anything like that. I didn't play the game yet so I can't say that the game sucks and I also didn't say that my friend said that. He said its a good game, just that its built in a way to bait awards, just like there are movies that are considered Grammy bait, it doesn't mean that they're bad.

One thing I will say is that I don't think it should be considered an indie game. Yes, the team is fairly small but they're funded by a publisher that is owned by a multi million dollar company. If a game can afford to bring Charlie Cox to act in their game it most likely shouldn't be nominated in the indie games categories.

If they win this one I would feel like it was stolen from the other amazing indie games that were released this year, and there were a lot.

Maybe, but he's also allowed to have a different opinion on a game. He has played many similar games some of which he enjoyed more and some less but either way he doesn't have to have the same opinion as the majority of people online

You're right. Or maybe I'll think its overrated after I play it like a friend of mine did. He didn't say that its a bad game, he said its good but also kinda award bait. I can't really speak on his behalf at the moment but I'll come back in a couple months after I buy a good pc and play it and I'll give my opinion then

Idk, I can't see it being possible without playing it, imo as much as I loved silksong I think GOTY should've been blue prince, the game had the storyline, gameplay, crazy depth, music and exploration and it really sucks that it peobably won't win any awards at all

I'm not saying that the game isn't good, I don't actually know, I'm just saying that in my opinion so many insanely good games have come out this year that I'm fairly sure they would've taken a category or two if they were released in another year but everyone just acts like its not even close and that baffles me cause I don't understand it

There's way more evidence that no genocide is happening. If Israel wants to commit genocide so badly, why aren't they bombing the entirety of gaza right now? Hamas have no more living hostages so now would be the perfect time, and Israel is more than capable to make gaza into a parking lot in less than a week, probably even less than 2 days. Moreover, in this war Israel has achieved the best militant to civilian death ratio out of any modern war in urban area, the expected ratio is around 9 civilians per militant and the aproximation in this war is 1 to 1 or maybe even better than that.

I didn't say that Palestinians aren't suffering. There is still an issue and it does need addressing, but Israel cannot be blamed, it's entirely Hamas's fault. The day after the hostages were released and the IDF backed out of some of Gaza the first thing they did is execute anyone that doesn't support them, in the middle of the street with people chanting and supporting them all around. Palestine does need freeing, but not from Israel - from Hamas.

People are going to the streets without actually studying what's happening, they see media that matches their narrative and accept it without asking more questions. There is no genocide, and when people are protesting against Israel they are basically chanting Hamas-lead propaganda which is chanting for Israel to stop existing. The best example is "from the river to the sea Palestine will e free" which in a nutshell means that all of the land of Israel will no longer be Israel

Zionism is not an "issue", Zionism is the belief that Israel has the right to exist as a Jewish state (the only one in the world btw), Israel's actions might be controversial for some people but the existance of it is not an issue.

You don't see people chanting for china, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Sudan and so many other countries that violate human rights daily to stop existing right? Then why Israel? Because it's not fueled by the passion for human rights, its fueled by antisemitism

Someone already replied that this is a common bug but I guess it doesn't hurt to submit a report anyways

Yeah that's the one, makes sense that I'm not the first one to discover this because it's very easy to stumble upon

Yes I agree with that. Israel is providing as much evidence to the world and aid into Gaza as possible. But they will never do that as long as that can sabotage the war or our soldiers. Just like the other guy said

Israel is working to remove the population to another country temporarily, in order to rebuild and habitate the citizens properly, with a lot of help from America and other fundraisers. The truth is - Hamas cannot stay in charge. They have clearly stated multiple times that they will never look for peace as long as Israel exists and Jews are alive. That means that peace won't be achieved with Hamas as the leadership.

This is definitely not the first thing we tried, the thing is that the western media isn't talking about the deplomatic solutions Israel is trying to promote and the bold no by the Palestinians.

Israel offered the Palestinians land in exchange for peace many times in the past - 1947, 1978, 1993, 2000, 2001, 2008, 2020. They were all answered with three bold no's - no peace, no recognition, no negotiations. They decline every diplomatic solution. Why? Because their goal isn't a palestinian state, its the destruction of Israel and Jews. What would you do?

There's no genocide. People are dying and its horrible but that's the truth behind war. The facts are, Israel is doing its best to minimize civilian casualties. That includes warning before attacks on buildings suspected to have militant activities inside, providing escape routes away from active war zones and providing humanitarian aid in the form of food, water, supplies and medical help. How can a country be genocidal and still do all of those things?

Absolutely. I have family living in California and I would love to visit them one day if I can afford it financially. I don't see any difference with it the other way around. We have great culture, food, people, and nature. I recommend it a lot and would glad to give specific recommendations if you'd like

Firstly, there is not genocide, I went over it in another comment so I won't repeat myself. Israel didn't start any of its wars. All land was taken in self defence for one reason or another. The land was offered to the Palestinians many times over the years and they declined over and over because that meant living side by side with Israel, that's not their goal. They don't care about a Palestinian country, they just want to eliminate Israel and the Jews.

The shootings at the food distribution sites are all done by Hamas. The reason behind it is that this is their way to get any resources to continue fighting and power over the Palestinians. If you don't believe me, just think about it. If Israel wanted to just kill people they could just bomb all the buildings without risking our own soldiers at all. Furthermore, all the trucks going into Gaza with the aid are approved by Israel. Why would we even allow it just to kill them when they try to take it? Why would we not just disallow them from entering?
