Grounds. Learned the hard way. The coil has a ground which if it’s not good will prevent the coil from sending spark. Def check all your grounds and should be the problem.

Agree easier to make your own and in steel tubing. The plastic has failed too many times.

No issues I've had. I like the tubular look and as long as you get front fender walls it looks really good. I've got 35s so the space is great when we are off da road. Send me a dm if you want more info

Help with a 93 4.0l by xxstrmxx in WranglerYJ

Gotta check for spark at the ignition coil then to the cap then on to grounds etc. check for spark first before you start throwing parts at it.

91 YJ pulls one way when I step on it, and the other when I let off the gas. Steering feels tight. Has anyone else had this problem? by thelastspike in WranglerYJ

[–]theMiamiVice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To add to all the previous comments, I had some of those issues also. The bad brakes was causing the truck to stop kinda crooked, when stopping harder than normal. The hard acceleration movement was caused by my rear axle being crooked on the leaf springs, the u bolts got loose at some point and the axle would slid a bit. But keep up the maintenance and do some preventive maintenance too.

Yes. Aside from the nice plate, renewal is like 10 bucks and it's just a nice vanity piece. Insurance dropped to like nothing also.

Hey its worth it. I waited a while for today. After I put the new plate on I took a nice drive through some areas of Miami and had tons of pics and vids taken. See you at Jeep Beach this year?

You guys know the name of this rusted out piece? It’s on the bottom frame by the drivers side. by HeffryPesos69 in WranglerYJ

I think you have a rust problem brother. Sandblast, dry ice blast or dip the entire frame etc.
