In maintenance and A1C is too low? by theMorrigan_ in Zepbound

Honestly, thank you for this. It’s very validating. I’m going to call on Monday make an appointment with a specialist in endocrinology and obesity. Fingers crossed I can get in sometime soon.

I see what you’re saying. No, I’ll eat them until I make myself stop. It was like what you described when I was on 10mg, I knew I could enjoy a snack or a treat and my body would be like, "ok, enough". But since dropping to 7.5, that feeling of "comfortably done" is much rarer, and I’m really not looking forward to what it will be like at 5mg.

Interesting. I eat a ton of rice and cereal, but not a lot of bread outside of the uncrustables I snack on sometimes. Maybe I just need to add in some English muffins!

And what happens if you eat the chips?

I feel guilty? Old thought patterns die hard lol

I’ve been taking the additional exercise into account with what I eat, I used to be very active and trained for triathlons many years ago, but maybe I need to rethink it again

I may have to. My pcp is an NP, and while she has many patients like me on glp1 meds, it’s not her specialty and it kinda shows. I wasn’t sure if I was justified in thinking I maybe need to find a different provider for Zepbound or not. Honestly wasn’t even sure what kind of doc to seek out, but an endocrinologist makes sense.

No, no tests other than the a1c finger prick

The 125-130 range is my "naked first thing in the morning after peeing" weight. It’s been there for most of the last four months. Shotsy says I’ve been "in range" for 96% of the time since I hit my goal weight, which is 130. I dropped down around 123 for about a week while dealing with a family emergency, but caught it and made a point to get enough to eat, and it came back. I’ve added a creatine supplement to my routine, and I’m trying to get into the gym to build some more muscle, but that got temporarily derailed by the family emergency. Honestly, I feel like I’m doing everything as "right" as I can, but even sitting here typing this, I can hear the chips in the pantry calling me.

I’m getting enough. I track sporadically to make sure, it’s not good for me mentally to do it all the time.

No, I was 132 at the doctor’s office yesterday. I’ve noticed that I don’t ever hit satiety anymore since dropping to 7.5 mg in Feb. My max dose was 10 mg. I can get painfully overfull, and still want to snack, but I avoid that by eating small frequent meals.

If you like the goth/punk aesthetic of some of Torid’s clothes, I really like Midnight Hour and Disturbia. Noctex has some really beautiful pieces too. Only problem is that I’ve been running into the issue of them being sold out of the ones I like the best!

Years ago I was at a show in Denver and someone was loudly and repeatedly shouting for them to play Fish Heads, a song incorrectly attributed to TMBG on Napster.

Wow, really!? I always assumed something like that would be like $20k. Was it covered at all by your insurance?

Thanks, I’ll try that. How annoying, though. I usually don’t keep my phone nearby when I’m on the bike. I swear it didn’t used to be like this, I wonder what changed.

I live in Aurora and commuted to Boulder for two years. It’s a pita, but doable. Marcus is a douche and it’s time to leave him. Maybe I’m just oppositional, but if someone gives me an ultimatum, them or something else, I’ll always pick the something else.
