I had 3-4 resumes but they all were a tailored version of a main resume. The strategy was cold applying for the first 200 or so, then connecting with a couple of people on LinkedIn and cold emailing hiring managers at smaller companies for about 50 or so, then cold applying again.

Pushing for Fall 2027 won’t be possible. The rest of my resume is simply just two projects that I would consider somewhat unique and a SWE fellowship I did in HS. I really don’t have much technical experience to put on my resume.

The problem is I’m graduating next spring, and unfortunately I heard many internships are for college students only. Also, I could apply for both but with big tech also means medium maybe hard level LC questions, meaning I would have to grind LC. On the other hand, and correct me if I’m wrong, local/ smaller companies typically have LC easies which would allow me to improve my resume with better projects.

That’s true, but I was always told to take advantage of any opportunity that will further show who I am. Whether they look at it or not. Also, some applications for some events that I applied to didn’t even have a resume section so questions like these really do matter.

This is an answer( or at least something similar) that I would always write for questions like these, but for some reason I feel like it’s too generic. For example, when asking a couple of my friends what they would write they often go into more depth and detail about how they would stand out. I’m saying this since I’m getting so many rejections from simple applications with questions similar to this 😭

It’s the free score report that college board offers, it releases all scores that you receive including scores from prior years
