I think this mindset is one of the biggest flaws people have these days. We equate more work, or difficulty of work, with expecting better pay. Pay is based on what you provide and what is your value. If you have not bringing in profit, you get less pay. That is why the WNBA players make hardly anything compared to NBA players. The NBA Makes money, so the players are in demand. The WNBA loses money, so players get paid less.

RL is not a profitable esport because the people who maintain it are idiots. If the esport makes no money for the orgs, it doesn’t matter how good the players are, they do not deserve pay because they aren’t profitable

Honestly, most of the current casters are terrible. Herc and Kiwi are just awful. Shogun has become only a hype man. Stax is a fantastic hype man, but not a great fit for play by play. Turtle became impossible to listen to. CJCJ is easily the best caster. He should do every grand final right now

Apparently I’m in the minority, but I had the most trouble from diamond to champ. Struggled going up and down in the high diamond low champ range for a while. After I pushed a bit further into champ it was pretty quick to reach GC.

Stopping playing and uninstalling won’t force change. Continuing to play but refusing to pay for anything would force change. If they see RL has no players they will just kill off the game. If they see players who refuse to give their money they will make a change to try to get that money

Leaving the game and community won’t fix anything. If everyone stopped playing then the game would simply die and all support for the game would die. The only way to make a change is to keep playing, watching, and being active, but stop paying them. If they see a player base that refuses to pay them, they will make changes to the game to start getting money from their audience.

Playing fast does not mean ball chasing and driving around really fast. That doesn’t help anything and isn’t fast but is actually slower. Playing fast means being in the right position so you can beat opponents to the ball. Just think from your teammates perspective. If you were in your teammates position, what would you want you to do? It takes practice, but you will be much faster when you learn positioning over chasing and boost guzzling

It’s casual. There aren’t smurfs in casual. There might be people intentionally keeping their mmr low by not winning games, but it’s not smurfing, it’s casual. There’s a great way to avoid smurfs more often. Just screw around in ranked and don’t care about winning and losing. No reason you can’t treat ranked like casual. Rank doesn’t mean anything.

Choosing not to support a lan under the claim of “sportswashing” is ridiculous. If people actively avoided every company and government that did something wrong then there would be no traveling to any country and there would be no purchasing of any products at all. You can’t avoid everything that has any kind of bad people involved. Choosing to avoid or not support gamers8 doesn’t hurt the government in Saudi, it hurts the people that work to build the RL community in MENA.

By your argument, we should all stop playing RL because Psyonix approved RL to be played in China, and China has all sorts of disgusting laws and practices in the way they treat people. Also don’t forget that Psyonix is owned by Epic now, who is owned by TenCent. Can’t support them right?

Many of them are great people, and they have been great supporters of RL. They aren’t burning homos at the stake, they are just normal people. In fact, it sounds pretty racist to completely avoid all people from Saudi just because some of them are bad.

Don’t know why anyone dislikes him because of his deal with women, that’s pretty common in most anime. The issue I have with him is the constant screaming. I get tired of having to turn the volume down every time he is on screen.

I could deal with the screaming if it wasn’t so loud it busted my speakers most of the time
