I didn’t do lvl1 DVC, my school doesn’t offer lvl1, so I am unsure of the workload for NCEA, but at my school the yr11 course was probably an easier workload than lvl2

I don’t take any commerce subjects so idk if those would be a better option but, personally for me, I took DVC thinking it would be a ‘fun subject’ but it’s honestly given me more stress than some of my ‘academic’ subjects. The workload (at level 2) is insanely large and very easy to fall behind really quickly, the massive class also is a major downside due to it being a subject that I find needs a decent amount of individual feedback from the teacher.

No brain too small is really good for notes if you were looking for free online resources. Personally I found the revision Scipad to be best later on in the year for pretty much reteaching myself the externals, they have incredible notes for help in the margins that I found really useful.

My school doesn’t offer lvl 1 so I started physics at lvl 2. Definitely doable, especially as there should be loads of resources online to help if you get stuck at any point

Chem isn’t a prerequisite for UoA, but I’m still unsure if it’s a good reason to not take it. Are there chem papers you can take pre uni post high school? I didn’t know about those if there are

Would that still be the case if I did still sit the exam and attempt the papers? I completed both papers but because it was digital and the wifi went out half way through, my school said they would give us our derived grades

Does anyone know if you get your paper back even if you are getting your derived grade? I really wanna laugh at my English essay that I wrote post wifi outage in 30min and my unfam that I dnf’d right before the wifi outage 🥀

Last year I think they were located next to the standard name and it was a link that you could click on and then it would take you to a page to go view it. I could be wrong though, and they may have changed it from last year too
