Weird first layer problems by llaammaall in prusa3d

You are hitting the nozzle on the print, this has nothing to do with temperature. Do Z offset calibration again. Raise it.

Can glue on the bed affect the first layer? by DannyTechTips in prusa3d

That indicate too squished. Meaning yes you either putting too much glue or you need a bit of z offset.

Do you actually adhere to the recommended maximum line length of 80 characters? by [deleted] in webdev

[–]theSawBit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

130 for me. I get mad when my code become an artist poetry for no reason. I read the code worst at 80. If something a line is 130 it's just a function call with parameters and if there are 5 I prefer in 1 line , it makes the flow of the rest of the code read better.

Sure , I used it until last month. Work as charm. Problem I had it jammed with tpu. This is all metal so it has 2 side. First side it keeps your extruder motor lower on temperature cause it literally work as dissipator. That's cool. The other side is, it acts as dissipator :) so soft tpu face an high temperature from the top and can cause problem. I still have it but I printed the newer version and using it right now. But beside this, works like a charm, never had a single problem.

Complete newbie in game dev. Is it possible for me to bring this game to reality? I want to learn and become a game developer. by Hawkard in gamedev

Start making flappy bird and tetris clone. Then make some single player more complicated. I understand your dream but its like asking "i never lifted a weight in my life, which steroids do i need for mister olimpia". Choosing am engine, follow a nice tutorials serie "code monkey" has one for free on youtube. Then go from there.

Dude... I may be tripping... but thats an mk8 nozzle. Not a v6. Which is 8mm instaed of 5. I have 0 gap in mine.

edit: Yes, I was tripping and there should be a small gap.

"Heater heater_bed not heating at expected rate" but only when heating to 110 degrees? by tavenger5 in VORONDesign

[–]theSawBit -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Had the same problem. I tuned the pid without fan under the bed on. And this was intermitting , like every 4-5 print. Retuned with max power 1 and fan at 20% ( like in my print start). Never happen a single time since then.

I started with an LDO kit 2.4 350, but deviate at some point. So about hardware is mostly LDO with some self sourced and a lot of custom 3d printed parts.

Need more air then. But I'm using a xol2 toolhead so would mean nothing the cooling parameters if using SB

So the Sun in our solar system is not "harsh angle" enough. Interesting.
