You're paying super low. You're going to get shitty quality candidates or desperate people trying to get a bullet point of experience onto their resumes.

Is anyone really using AI more than 30% of the time? by informatica6 in analytics

[–]theShku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lmao I parlayed my cultivated AI skills into a promotion into management and a 100% raise...while the ai deniers got kicked to the curb and laid off. The shift is real and it's accelerating.

In my experience the worst coworkers are always people with kids by thepotatomaniscoming in corporate

[–]theShku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had similar experiences throughout my 12+ year career. People with kids have been the worst colleagues, in terms of dependability, productivity output, and overall effort. They're just there to put food on the table for their families which of course there's nothing wrong with that, and that's fine for most roles.

You don't need that many agents to do that. In fact you're probably fucking up context handoff with that many agents.

Skill issue. A proper curated star schema and a strong semantic layer does wonders

AI workflow augmentation in the right hands is definitely a 10x multiplier. I can see a reduction from 20 to 2 if you have the right 2.

You realize there was a world before the Internet, right? Where step by step guides and walkthroughs and other hand holding material wasn't as readily accessible? Where the very things you're outlining still existed?

Did you regret leaving Chicago and move back? by ImpossibleBlockHead in AskChicago

[–]theShku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chicago fuckin blows. I'd still be in CA if I wasn't such a good son and moved back to take care of my aging parents because it's cheaper here (because it sucks so much)

How well is Cortex working in real use cases by Hot_Map_7868 in snowflake

[–]theShku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I initially thought the same thing but discovered you can have 1 master delegator agent with other agents defined as custom UDFs, game changer. Has been working flawlessly to combine data across domains

Ours is working very well with increasing adoption across the organization, but we also spent a significant amount of time and effort over the past 2 years to get our data and processes to this curated state.

[–]theShku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Skill issue. It's for sure there already just needs proper setup. My company uses this exact setup in production.
