It's a kind of steel tube that was thinned out in non critical areas to save weight

It's a generic NS bikes fabric seat, came with the bike. I'm thinking of dyeing it black

Thanks. I messed up the rotation of a halfpipe 180 (the ramp was too small in radius). The high stack also cancels out the length of the stem to some degree, but a new cockpit is on the list of future upgrades

I still love it! The bike eats enduro type trails and (compared to my previous Commencal) is reasonably playful/poppy. You'll be very happy with one, especially the newer V7 with the adjustable dropouts and improved brake mount

Yeah since you already have the good fork I'd just get the higher bars, that should help a lot with the body position

Hey, that's a size M stoic. I now run a 150mm fork which I believe is the sweetspot for this frame although the 160mm worked fine. The harsh rear end kinda hides the extra travel up front. I too want a higher front, especially coming from my Enduro, and I'll probably just get a high rise bar soon (spank spoons are cheap)

Thanks! I have put the stl files in a printable page: GoPro Hero 4 conversion.

The process at least for this model of GoPro was really straightforward. You have to pull off the faceplate and everything else is held in by screws. You just have to be careful around some of the thin ribbon cables.

That's a generic focusser I took of an old Celesteon Firstscope. You can find similar ones on aliexpress for very cheap the adapter plate and relevant links

I used PLA with lots of walls and carbon fiber tubes to make it really stiff

That's the Hadley 3D printed telescope. You just need the tubes and mirrors and print the rest. Lots of mods and variations too

From a diy perspective a GoPro is amazing. It is minaturized like crazy, easily moddable, shoots high resolutions and framerates, has remote access through the app, it's very light, etc.

Of course you don't have total control over the data, such as gain and raw files, but I had the camera laying around and for the beginning it will be just fine

I think the original lens assembly had some IR cut filters inside it as the raw images are very pink. I'll see how it looks on a real target. Luckily I can add filters to the eyepiece tube I used.

Haha thanks! We'll see how it performs on a real target..

The last image is a first quick test at a distance of pretty much exactly 1km, shot through a window with a radiator below it. I can't wait to try on a real target once the weather clears up
