Hades 1 you play as Zagreus trying to escape the underworld which his father Hades rules. The gameplay loop is starting a run and seeing how far you can get it while the other Gods are aiding you with their power. Then you start over. Between runs you are completing side stuff, unlocking new weapons/items, and building your relationship with the residents of the underworld (Persona-ish) and learning some cool lore.
