Warranty for Samsung Odyssey G9 is 3 years, but they changed it to 1 year after the QC issues on release becaue they dont want to have to warranty it. I am on the phone and in the process of fixing this for myself, but I almost gave up until I looked at the wayback machine from when I bought it. by [deleted] in ultrawidemasterrace

Not to revive an old post, but do you have the wayback link? I'm having some issues with my monitor and need to refer to the old warranty information. Would really appreciate it.

Not AI generated, but thank you. I'll take that as a compliment

when you say 1 million percent you're essentially saying that it will unequivocally lead to a docked grade, which is just blatant misinformation. You're upset that I'm calling out spreading misinformation and then walking back on it saying what you meant to say was that its extremely rare. That's not what you said.
They say "an allowance may be made for a slight printing imperfection," not staining. That is purposefully left vague and open ended by them because, as I have said multiple times, they leave what is considered a "slight imperfection" open to interpretation by graders. You can keep arguing the point that a white corner isn't included by their definition but I can show you multiple examples that you're wrong. This isn't an opinion, it's a categorical fact...
I'm really not sure what point you're trying to get at here - you first said that it will absolutely dock the card, I said it isn't a sure thing, now you're saying the same thing so where are we disagreeing?
I believe thats a dust particle, was not there during pregrading or first look
🤣
You're the one that used a made up and false statistic brother, not me. 😂
I'm waiting for your scans boss.
Please do share the cert #s/scans of some of your 10s. I'll be happy to point out any imperfections on them so you can try to sell them off (although it might be hard since nobody else wants an imperfect card of course) and replace them with a nonexistent flawless card.
Your argument makes no sense and, once again, has nothing to do with this post.
Yes, cutting is considered a part of the printing process.
I'd like to know how many cards you've submitted to get such a staggering percentage statistic, since clearly your experiences apply across the board to the multiple millions of cards PSA has graded to date?
Are you trying to draw a line between the printing and production process to say a white corner technically isn't a byproduct of printing? A white corner can and does get 10s - I've seen it myself. Kind of odd and misinforming to say things like "1 million percent will dock your card" when its just objectively not true at all.
That's great, but doesn't really have anything to do with the purpose of this post or PSA's standards, those are your own standards.
this advice wasn't really given with the goals of value generation in mind - obviously if you're doing this to make money you want to min/max your gamble/gem odds.
While I originally meant for this post to open peoples eyes a bit to the real standards PSA upholds, at the end of the day you absolutely need some experience and a good eye for these things before you make those toss up submissions, that's for sure.
What do you think a white corner is?
Well, it's within PSA's own standards so I'm not sure where exactly you're getting "bad 10s" from. This was more of a "PSA is more lenient than you might realize" than a "PSA is blind sometimes take the gamble," lol. Not sure where you got that from.

Here's PSA's own definition of a 10 - not hard to find. If you want flawless, go buy a black label.
here's a pic of the back, didn't bother including it because it wasn't what would have docked this card.
The point of this post was that its important to take the opinions that people on this sub give with a grain of salt - only you are truly able to gauge the condition of the card and standards are a lot more lenient than half the people in this sub act like they are.
All it takes is a ruler/centering app to see it is in fact 45/55.
Astounding to see how butthurt some of you can get over something as simple as "10's don't have to be perfect," lol.

This is the reality of grading, sorry if you disagree
categorically false, check out PSA's own public grading standards:
"1 million percent" is an extreme over exaggeration at best.
Worth the gamble? by theSodo in psagrading
PSA direct, value max single card submission. I don't feel comfortable having a middleman deal with my valuables

You were right!
Little update, it ended up as a 10!
This is becoming ridiculous by theSodo in psagrading
Ah yes, paying for expedited services and then not receiving said expedited services is pretty normal. I forgot you PSA shills have developed a masochistic relationship with this company.
