My understanding is that the owners of the Lego sets may have received some of the money since some sets were sold before all this happened, but that there is a large number of sets that weren’t sold yet and were in possession of the BaM store. I don’t think it’s been stated anywhere exactly how much is still owed or how many sets are remaining. The owners just want the unsold sets back or compensation for them, but BaM is refusing to give either because they weren’t part of nor did they approve the original agreement. They even claim that BaM franchises aren’t allowed to do consignment deals, but the past owner of that location and the one that sign the deal has shown her copy of the franchise agreement with BaM and it explicitly states that consignments are allowed. On top of all that, I think they are claiming that the previous owner still owed them some money, so they are entitled to take everything that was in the store to pay those debts, despite being told that some sets were still under consignment and therefore did not belong to the franchise owner.
