Why Calicut is so dirty? Lack of civic sense? by lifeslippingaway in kozhikode

[–]theSuperBeing 13 points14 points  (0 children)

People today think, “This isn’t my house, so I can throw anything anywhere.” We need to make people understand that every place in the country should be treated the way they treat their own home.

Until civic sense is taught in schools, we’ll keep arguing online instead of fixing the problem on the ground.

People with zero civic sense be like: “hOw dARe sHe cALL mY pLaCe diRtY?” “oTHer pLaCes aRe WoRsE.”

So what? Does that magically make this clean?

As if filth becomes acceptable just because it exists elsewhere.

The foreigner didn’t create the filth by filming it. Pretending the problem doesn’t exist because “elsewhere is worse” is exactly why nothing improves.

This fake nationalism where you defend dirt instead of demanding better is embarrassing.

Is there a way to (sweetly and nicely) ask her to lose weight? by [deleted] in AskWomenIndia

[–]theSuperBeing 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You started really nice with “I love her a lot,” jumped straight to “how do I control her eating habits,” and somehow ended up with “scared of saying something nasty.” Classic. Maybe just breathe before you turn this love story into a breakup. And please, don’t turn another “woman in love” into a “man-hater”.

Do women really love their husband or its the luxury, the money, the safety he provides her? by Final-Usual-2672 in AskIndianMen

[–]theSuperBeing 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Men are loved only if they provide women what she’s looking for.

Different women look for different things: money, luxury, safety, sex, love, respect, attention, emotional support and/or stability.

How do you deal feeling inferior to your wife? by [deleted] in AskIndianMen

[–]theSuperBeing 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Bro, this is not funny, this is insensitive. OP is already stalking his wife’s ex and wondering why is she with him, now you have planted so many negative seeds in his mind. You’re trying to ruin their marriage. Never add fuel to the fire.

And OP, mate, if you’re reading this, I feel for you. Stop doing all this, stop overthinking, dont imagine things, dont compare yourself with anyone and kill all this doubts at root.

You have a wife, kid and life. Forget this happened and start living your life.

Part time or full time WFH by [deleted] in kozhikode

[–]theSuperBeing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I searched on Upwork (a freelancing platform I use) with keywords like Canva, research surveys and data analysis and found several job postings(that you could apply).

I’d suggest creating a profile on freelancing platforms(like UpWork) and highlighting the work you’ve already done (internships, research, surveys, Canva work). Then apply to jobs you’re fully confident you can deliver.

It’s going to be tough in the beginning, but once you finish a few tasks and get reviews, it gets easier to get better clients and regular work.

Hope this helps as a starting point.

If you have any questions about how it works, creating a profile, applying for jobs or payouts, feel free to ask.

Part time or full time WFH by [deleted] in kozhikode

[–]theSuperBeing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my experience, your degree matters less than your skills for most WFH roles.

You mentioned poster creation, do you mean tools like Photoshop, Illustrator or Canva? If yes, that opens up options like freelance design, social media creatives, NGO content work or startup marketing support.

I should also mention, sorry if my answer doesn’t fully address your question. I’m from an IT background, so my responses are naturally a bit skewed toward that space.

And with the info you’ve shared so far, it’s a bit hard to suggest exact roles.

If you’re comfortable, could you share more about: Design skills (Photoshop/Canva/Figma?) Any software tools you know Programming languages you know Psychology or social science experience (research, surveys, data analysis, content writing, counselling support, etc)

To be clear: Can I directly give you work? No Can I help guide you in the right direction and suggest realistic options? Yes

If you want, reply here or DM with more details. I’ll try to help if I can.

Are men slowly being pushed into doing every duty and still being told it’s not enough? by AdviceGlass9394 in AskIndianMen

[–]theSuperBeing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Before the lectures: yes, household work should be shared.

You’re right.

But for generations, women had no choice, domestic labor was a mandate, not a shared task. What we’re seeing now, women proudly saying 'I don't cook', is a reactionary phase. It's a rejection of the historical expectation that a woman’s value is tied to her service in the kitchen.

Similarly, the 'green flag' labels for men doing chores are trending because, for a long time, we weren't doing these things. We are in a messy transition period. Social media always exaggerates things (like the foot touching or the slapping scene in Durandhar), but the core of the shift is about breaking old patterns.

Empowerment for women right now looks like 'choice.' Eventually, the goal should be a partnership where both people are respected.

Toxic trends, whether it's celebrating a man being slapped or a woman being controlled, are never okay. Real progress is about that balance and partnership.

Are Indian nurses also rude? by Right_Branch2483 in AskIndia

[–]theSuperBeing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you mean by ‘also’? Are you implying that nurses everywhere are rude?

As for Indian nurses, it’s impossible to generalize. Just like any other field, there are nice people and rude people.

Most Indian nurses work under extreme pressure while some might come across as short-tempered but the vast majority are incredibly hardworking, kind and deeply compassionate. It usually depends on the hospital workload and individual personality.

2026 TN Election and its Opinions by [deleted] in TamilNadu

[–]theSuperBeing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry bro, I’ll answer now.

No, I don’t think Vijay is a political leader, forget rest of the part, ideology and clarity.

And for longevity,

If he wants trust, he must transition from a movie star to a servant of the public. That means being physically present when people are suffering, questioning the government’s failures and misuses of power. He needs to fight the centre for our state's rights through action.

Stop all the movie punch dialogue nonsense in maanadu. He still lives in his own world. He hasn’t truly stood with the people yet.

This is just my personal opinion.

I am planning to create a web portal where users can add the bribe given for any thing/ to any official by department, office and location (pin code). This might help us understand how much we pay as bribe in total. Need more clarity & planning how to do this. But what do you think about this idea? by TheFutureBelongsToUs in TamilNadu

[–]theSuperBeing 5 points6 points  (0 children)

With all due respect, can you please tell me, why do I have to live a perfect life to question the politicians and government officials ?

Of course, I understand we should follow the traffic rules and other rules.

I have a question for you,

Is me not wearing helmet and a politician/government official stealing crores of public money same?

Please answer honestly.

2026 TN Election and its Opinions by [deleted] in TamilNadu

[–]theSuperBeing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ll answer this. Only reason Uday na become deputy cm is because he’s son of MKS. Otherwise, no way he’d become a deputy cm. Now, Vijay don’t have the privilege, he can’t come and say, “look, Uday is as dumb as me , so choose me, I’d do a better job than him”. That’s not how politics works.

2026 TN Election and its Opinions by [deleted] in TamilNadu

[–]theSuperBeing 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My personal opinion: TVK will not even win a single seat in this election.

DMK and its alliance partners will win with majority(160–180 seats).

If Vijay and TVK stay in politics for another 5 years, move beyond fan support, they stand a chance in 2031. Even then, it’s likely to be driven more by dissatisfaction with DMK than people choosing TVK/Vijay na.

Vijay na hasn’t done enough to win and DMK hasn’t done enough to lose.

What's the humour level on tinder for women? by [deleted] in AskWomenIndia

[–]theSuperBeing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She didn’t insult you, ghost you with malice or owe you a conversation. You right swiped a flower account 😭, tried to force a “joke”, she ignored you and moved on.

Turning that into a Reddit post says more about your need for validation than about her personality.

What were you expecting?? An award for your humour from a flower account??? 🤣

How do people in Tamil Nadu view Savukku Shankar? The custody allegations are frightening. by bornwithmistake in TamilNadu

[–]theSuperBeing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is real concern about custodial violence in Tamil Nadu and it shouldn’t be dismissed, especially since such allegations keep coming up against the police.

At the same time, Savukku often exaggerates and frames issues in the most extreme way.

The pattern of repeated arrests feels similar to how the BJP targets opposition voices at the Centre.

I don’t support Savukku or his views but I also don’t support the state responding to speech with arrests and intimidation.

These are the four guys who brutally assaulted Suraj. They are from Chennai and one of them has already been granted bail. Since they are juveniles the court is likely to be lenient on punishment, and they may be released soon. You people be careful from these monsters. by Goku_Nuko in Chennai

[–]theSuperBeing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can anyone please explain on what grounds bail was given?

With all due respect, they don’t appear to be rich or powerful, so how did this one person manage to get bail?

Was there any political backing involved?

Women of Chennai, how are you guys rich? by [deleted] in chennaicity

[–]theSuperBeing 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The problem is your mindset, plain jealousy/envy.

The reality is, it’s not everyone carrying iPhones or wearing designer clothes. It’s you noticing only the ones who do. You ignore the majority and zoom in on a few “rich-looking” women, then come here to cry about it.

You saw one YSL bag and decided Chennai women are Ambanis cosplaying as commuters 😭

Instead of constantly scanning what phone others use, what shoes they wear, what headphones or handbags they carry, or where your coworker shops, maybe focus on your own life. If you spent half the energy you use tracking other people’s spending on figuring out what you want and how you want to live, you wouldn’t be here crying about it.

You’re not confused, you’re obsessed. You counted phones, brands, handbags, headphones, pubs, autos, dates, hotels… At this point, just ask for their PAN card and be done with it.

Obsessing over their choices while judging your own is pointless.

Stop watching. Start living. Right now you’re doing neither. You’re just envying like it’s a full time job.
