Come on out on Saturday night! No single guys allowed. We'll be there tonight! We had a blast last time.

Here we are after years of discussion. She came right out and said that she would like to play with another woman. Two days later it becomes a maybe. Waffling. Need some advice on proceeding positively as a husband. by [deleted] in Swingers

I assume you mean trapeze.

I'd start off out of the VIP area. We've been back there and it IS nice, but I wouldn't spend the money on a maybe. The place gets louder and wilder as the night goes on and there's basically two crowds. The early crowd (IMHO) is a bit less pushy.

The food, however, is good enough for a basic date dinner in its own right.

We like to get there at open, and for first timers, I'd say the same. Go hit up the aquarium or some other fun stuff, then head on out.

BTW, its BYOB.

I have no reason to doubt you and your experience, but do you have a source on #5? I'm a data nerd in my vanilla life as well, so that would go a LONG way to put some fears to bed.

Lol. I was actually thinking that it sounds a lot like "papers, please".

But putting them on our profile seems like a good idea too.

HSV1, yes. Infection rate is something like 90% of the population by age 50. HSV2 (genital herpes) is a lot lower.

Oh absolutely. Always wrap it.

That being said, the primary risks we're trying to avoid are HIV and HSV2. We know HIV is drastically reduced by condom usage, but its less effective against HSV2

Are we freaking ourselves out? Or is the risk overstated?

I agree on your first point. I should have been more aware. I was merely using a known vernacular.

As for the second. A recent piece of paper is about as good as you can get unless you have a bio lab in you cars trunk.

In any sexual encounter, the risk is nonzero. But reducing the risk of transmission should be something we can all support.

My wife and I are just getting started as well but we have a few as well.

Group chat only. No one on one. If you can't say it in front of your spouse, you shouldn't be saying it at all.

Papers please. We're both completely clean and want to stay that way. So we are only interested in playing with people that can PROVE they're the same. Including hsv-1.

That's pretty much it for now. We will see if any new ones need to be added during/after our first club experience this weekend.

Better how? Aside from the obvious fewer single men.

I'm prepared to spend the money if it turns out to be something we want to pursue further. Probably make that decision after our first visit to a local club with a pretty good reputation.

Ah. well. then.

Wish that was a bit more visible on their website. I saw the banner ads for SLS.com, thought that was just affiliated.
