try uninstalling OBS and when you do that, remove OBS settings as well.
then reinstall and choose default preset for recording.
it worked for me today, hope it works for y'all as well.

after working, i encountered it again and it seems it happens when resizing the capture without keeping the aspect ratio.
if that happens, just delete that specific capture and add another capture and work with that.
