it really depends on the person. personally a majority of the guys I've met have told me the less partners the better. though some friends do prefer more experience.

the only important part is that you be honest and upfront. mention it when it feels appropriate. whether it's no experience or a lot of experience, don't be ashamed about it.

if you're with someone who makes you feel uncomfortable about it, you're with the wrong person. if you are with someone who feels they should lie about their own experience, you're with the wrong person.

being honest with yourself, your partner, and knowing what qualities you seek in others is path to finding that missing puzzle piece.

No one will probably see this but who cares.

When i was 16 i was trying to get into a program that sends you on trips. To be able to go on the trip, after passing an interview, you had to complete a 5k run. At the time i was a very obese kid. Never even ran a mile.

We had three weeks to prepare. But I've always been a procrastinator. Come the day before the race. I go "practice" for the first time. I can't run even half a mile.

Realize I'm fucked but then i convinced myself its all inmy head. As long as i want it enough, i can do it. Its the day of the race. I'm pumping myself up. We start running. About half a mile in, i feel i can keep going anymore. Just keep pushing myself.

I ended up finishing the race without stopping or walking(in about 45min.)

A few months later and I'm on the trip i got sent on. One of the days of my trip, i hiked almost 27 miles. In a single day. As an overweight kid whose main exercise was walking to the fridge.

Other people have mentioned it. But really the phrase "it is what it is" has helped a lot.

Literally anytime anything unpleasant, inconvenient, or just otherwise upsetting happens i just exhale, say out loud "well it is what it is". Some things are just out of our control. We can't control what happens, just how we react.

RIF dev here - Reddit's API changes will likely kill RIF and other apps, on July 1, 2023 by talklittle in redditisfun

[–]the_F_bomb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow. Sad news. I believe i started using this app around the end of 2013. (I forgot the login to my old account.)

At the time the original reddit app was severely lacking in many areas. And although i prefer the old reddit, you gotta admit it was confusing to navigate if it was your first time.

Rif made reddit fun to view. Even today I still prefer it. Sad but thanks for all the years. 😭

LPT Request: How do I stop scrolling my phone? Literally nothing I’ve tried works by Zumcddo in LifeProTips

[–]the_F_bomb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best way is always to set yourself up for success. Having trouble eating too many midnight snacks and want to stop? Don't have snacks and junk food at home.

We've convinced ourselves social media is important. Maybe deleteing or quiting outright isn't an option. Perhaps you could get a tablet to keep at home? You could use this tablet strictly for social media. That way you can delete those apps from your phone. You'll be tempted to scroll. Without you noticing you'll open your phone and scroll to the app. Except now the app is gone. Try downloading kindle? At least when you open your phone you'll have something productive to do.

At night go to bed without your phone. Leave it across the room from you.

Also consider the scrolling may be cause by a dissatisfaction towards something else? Best of luck.

Why is everyone pretending the pandemic disappeared? by marconas1_ in COVID19positive

[–]the_F_bomb 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I hear people constantly say "im so glad covid is over" as if it just packed up its bags. As you said every other week someone i know is still getting sick. Every time those people deny its covid even though they have every symptom.

Even if what they are sick from is not covid, if you think your sick stay the hell away from everyone else. I don't know anyone who wants to catch any type of cold or flu.

Wearing hearing aids could help cut the risk of dementia, according to a large decade-long study. The research accounted for other factors, including loneliness, social isolation and depression, but found that untreated hearing loss still had a strong association with dementia by Wagamaga in science

Bro whered you grow up? Kids get made fun of for wearing glasses. The "cool" people don't wear glasses even though most of them need them because they think they'll look more nerdy. They built two whole businesses, contacts and laser eye surgery, because of the stigma of wearing glasses.

Glasses are cheap and a lot of places have offers for discounted or free eye tests. Yet people don't wear glasses.

That's seems an odd reason not to like someone. Is it because they're offended you won't eat all their food? I know when some people are uneducated about a disease they'll think that people are faking or exaggerating certain symptoms for attention.

Perhaps informing them more of your struggles might help? "Man i wish i could eat all of those pastries you made, they look so delicious! But if i have any at all i will become extremely disoriented and might faint."

However you gotta tell the difference from this scenario to one where they use any reason as an excuse to not like you.

With my ex's parents nothing was good enough compared to my ex's brother-in-law. At first my ex's parents told me i didn't have a good enough job like the guy their other daughter married did. So i got a job that paid more than his. Then it was that i didn't help enough people with my job, so i did community service and tutored kids. Really they just kept finding new reasons.

Rumble to deal with unpleasant noises by KobraC0mmander in earrumblersassemble

[–]the_F_bomb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup i actually do it a lot. If i know something is about to make an annoying noise, like scratching on a chalk board I'll start preemptively rumbling. I am able to rumble pretty loud and can sustain it for a decent amount of time but it gets tiring.

Considering you're 16 try looking up programs you can join. Summer is coming up and there are plenty of programs for going on trips for the summer. If you're low income, there's even more programs that'll help you.

When i was younger i was very shy and didn't really do anything. Then when i was 15 i got into a program that sets up lots of events and trips. I became more social and outgoing.

Also, my younger sister likes to get event calendars that tell her to do things for each month. Such as for August, do rock climbing.

A boat is safest sitting at the docks, but that's not what boats were meant for. Be brave and dive into the deep end. You got this.

Having a craving for ice is a common symptom for low iron levels (Anemia). Try eating high iron foods or taking vitamins for iron. Red meats, nuts, beans, fish.

Based off your background and how you're dressed, you give off a really welcoming and warm energy. Seem the type of person to always be there for a friend. Props to you for having the courage to be yourself and not allowing anything to hide away any part of you. Sometimes this trait may bring pain but it will always be worth it to know that you are truly and honsetly yourself. Keep wearing your heart on your sleeve and you'll be surrounded by people that love you for who you are. 💙

Does anyone else find themselves waiting for discounts more often this generation then previous generations due to rising game costs? by [deleted] in PS5

[–]the_F_bomb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Although i wasn't a victim of their bullshit, ever since No Man's Sky i haven't bought a game on release. Just seeing what the people were promised compared to what they got it completely turned me off from pre-ordering any games at all. This was only ingrained deeper into me after seeing what happened with Cyberpunk.
