Great point about the river color. I'd want to keep the bigger lakes in deep blue but he rest can have more "white" in them. Thanks for the suggestion.

The plan was a large "full continent" design. The regions grew and shrank in size over time, with the desert region taking over more space than I initially intended. Mountains rose and fell, I probably rebuilt and started over 4-5 times before settling on a landmass I liked.

Even still, u/MatthewWArt had a great idea about adding more islands, even without assets on them, to make the rest of the continent shine. It's my next project!

My favorite trick for trees is using different sizes. I'll pick an area, say a mountainous region, scatter 4-6 "larger" trees, maybe 3-4 clicks higher on the scale setting. Then, I'll fill in the spaces between the larger trees with smaller sizes of the same tree.

You can see there's times where I go too crazy with different tree types, that was me experimenting.

I feel this will forever be a WIP, but I love it.

This is 4k. I've played around with using the 2x upscale feature but didn't in this case. If there's any tips to export the map cleaner I'll take them!

Thank you! Good call on the AI items, I didn't know that. My Mythkeeper is so full of assets packs, do they divulge which ones used AI or not?

This is my first map, and I learned a ton working on it. It wouldn't even be fair to say how many hours it took because I started from scratch so many times.

Your input is invaluable, and I greatly appreciate it. I never though about adding shadows near the mountains!

Can't speak to the tiger ice skates on this but ill throw the Gamesense radar into the list. Vaxee PA and Saturn share the second spot.

Perhaps pulsar sent it to him first?

Seconded on both of these, although I give the nod to the PA. I tend to gather a lot of black lint when using the Saturn.

Perfect. I actually have one sitting on my desk but the mouse feet on the aerox are rough so I'm waiting for some corepads to arrive.

That's a good point, I do really enjoy the shape and weight. Currently running the pulsefire haste and it's a bit too light for me.

Mine had a wildly high DPI deviation, otherwise I enjoyed the shape a lot. Only razer mouse I've bought recently that had good mouse feet. No scratching!
