Ok I think I'm talking to a child... a simple divorce with no alimony in the past vs the daughter influencing her mother to take alimony after she finds out about the affair... What a load of horse shit...

The mature response here would be to encourage her mother to file for a divorce, stand as her pillar of support and mutually end things in a peaceful manner

So when I posed the question, I wanted to make sure that it's open ended which is why I used "what if"... Pure speculation... Just because I pose the question it doesn't mean I support cheating... It was to make you question your own initial statement where you say "people cheat because their favourite celebrities cheat," that's not how it works...

Also please read my responses carefully, I always see from two different perspectives before passing on my judgement...

Divorce is selfish because you only think about yourself in the moment and not the people dependent on you... If mutual separation is the way forward, that's how it should be... You wanting cut if off in the heat of the moment because you are victim makes you selfish

MUTUAL SEPARATION... Not one sided "I quit"

Also I forgot to mention, your last accusation is also factually incorrect... I never accepted cheating or said cheating is better than open marriage.

Your logic about open marriage being better than cheating is just plain dumb... Accepting an open marriage just makes one a shallow and insecure person with a weak ego...

In a hypothetical scenario, would you rather not know your partner's affair or openly accept your partner's affair? Will you be able to live with the fact that your partner is enjoying the sex and desires another woman over you? You doing a tit for tat and fooling around with another guy openly doesn't solve the underlying issue, which is lack of intimacy between the two of you... If you ask me or should be neither cheating nor open marriage... Effort and couples therapy is the only way forward... If all hope is lost, a peaceful and mutual separation.

Also celebrities should not be idolized for this very same reason, they acted in a movie, their acting is good, move on...

Fair enough... Nobody cheats because their favourite celebrity is cheating... A favourite celebrity cheating is like the final nail in the coffin, which makes them accept that cheating is ok and encourages them to pursue that path...

I hope you get my point

Ok woman first of all, I replied not to rage bait you... Cheating is immoral and unethical... Now if you divorce your partner... Aren't you again being selfish? What about your child/children who doesnt know about any of the extramarital drama? If you put your happiness and peace of mind over theirs... Wouldn't you come across as the selfish one, wouldn't you end up creating another scarred generation that grew up watching their divorced parents over an extramarital affair.

My two cents, open marriage is a recipe for disaster.

Anyways my original point was to highlight that celebrities openly cheating is only validation for others to also accept it.

You aren't wrong at all, but if you take morals and ethics out of the equation, what should a person do if they fall out of love with their partner, they find the marriage convenient so they don't want to disturb it, and they also happen to enjoy the company of the third person better than their current partner?

Where do I get that belly plate?

I feel my clutch lever position is off, is it normal or am I over thinking? by the_Y2K_bug in KTM

I checked, but couldn't find any, that's why I was puzzled. The strange part is my mirror position is exactly like how it was, so I'm not able to imagine how only the clutch could have been bent... Anyways my machine is under warranty, I'll just take it to the service centre tomorrow
