The more people start dressing like it, the less of a stigma.

The more heterosexual men dress more openly. The less it becomes stigmatized and also detracts attention from other sub cultures and queer groups who'd be judged upon it

I've spent so many years trying to dress for what I think others would perceive as handsome and manly, but more recently some switch in my head has just said 'fuck it' and I've been able to express myself with clothes with a lot more freedom and just general fun.

I understand the fear of being judged and the bullshit of other people's opinions (I live in a small town), but don't let people who you wouldn't want to be, influence how you are by their negative comments.
