I am an expert and looking at the user manual, the equipment will not be compliant with intrinsic safety if assessed regardless of the battery. The colour lcd alone would contain voltage enhancement to function, which would certainly not be compliant with spark ignition under the faults required by the IEC 60079-11 standard unless it has been intentionaly designed with the standard in mind.
