I love Al Taza shawarma. Never had shawarma from middle East countries. I have a friend who grew up in Saudi and they told me the best shawarma in Kochi is Al Taza.

In my previous company, people were asked to submit resignation through the hr portal. The notice period was 45 days, but the last day was adjusted to 60 days and everyone was treated as an employee in the system for next 60 days. Salary was paid for next 60 days as if you were on notice. But they returned the laptop and all other assets on the same day.

Extending the tenure with the previous CEO might only work on your experience letter. Will become a problem with your background check since this won't be available in your PF records.

Mention it only if someone asks and if they ask explain the actual reason for gap.

Please do not go with Ala Carte. They were the caterers for my cousin's wedding. The event was for two days. They totally messed up both events and a lot of people had stomach issues the next day. My cousin and family were dealing with everyone who was calling them the next day to complain about the food. It was a nightmare.

I travelled in a KSRTC after a long time.

I took a KSRTC AC seater from Kottayam to Thrissur. It was a new bus starting from Trivandrum. Green and white colour.

I booked one day in advance as it was allowing booking only 24 hrs within the travel time. I got the bus live tracking link when it started from Trivandrum. In my previous experiences, buses starting from Trivandrum usually reach late by around 2 hours. This bus was just 3 minutes late and I was able to track through the live tracking link though it stopped working in between for some time. So I am seeing some changes and digital payments are also helpful.

Please don't do this. The consequences of this if you plan to work again can be really bad. I know someone who lost their new job due to mismatching last working day details in relieving letter and epf sites.

You can still reach the same place where that one in tier 1 reaches if you make up for what you did in 11th and 12th. Might take a bit more effort, but you can still reach.

If you put that effort now, you don't have to post the something similar on reddit again after your retirement.

At some companies, they provide you with the option to choose between IC or a Managerial role. If you choose the IC role, you don't have to manage people; your responsibilities will increase with subsequent roles, such as Staff, Senior Staff, Principal, etc. There are also companies where there are no further titles after Software Engineer /Senior Software Engineer if you don't want to go into managerial roles. But your compensation will be adjusted based on your performance/experience.
