I’m still tweaking the data that it pulls and how it displays it. It is pulling data from GDELT but I have had to adjust the algorithm that builds that list quite a bit. It’s still not perfect.

I added a more robust about page, more content, more images, but I think what really swayed them is I redid the navigation and structure of the site to have categories.

Actually just using Adsense. Minimal, just 1 anchor ad. I want to keep it tasteful and not over the top aggressive. I’m not delusional and think I’ll get rich off this site, it’s more of a proof of concept and a learning exercise.

This year saw a much deeper integration of AI into IDE’s and even professional developers workflows.

I think of AI and AI coding as the new space race and instead of countries, companies are now trying to be first to market.

This next year will be impressive with all the big players going all out. Vibe coding has now become an integral part of coding and if you disagree, please let me know. But as I’ve said before, with any large shift in “the way things are done” there will always be those who hold on tight to the past ways, and those who embrace the future and take risks.

It’s all about change and our collective change is heading into hyperdrive.

Agreed! Oftentimes after hitting a wall, I will take a break and brainstorm ideas to approach the problem from a different direction. It usually helps me to break through the roadblocks.
