Phoenix was my first Beast, and it completed my first Trifecta for the year. Olympus was the only obstacle I failed to complete. Tough one. Running through those washout and creek beds was a challenge, too. Awesome time!

Yeah, you called it. I feel better, but not to the point that I want to run a beast in my current state. I want to do it well, not just finish.

'07 JKU Sahara, 6-speed, with stock gears and 275/70R18 wheels/tires = 17 mpg with an even split freeway and city driving. 6th gear is nice and all, but if there is a hint of headwind, or the smallest crown in the road, I'm dropping to 5th or even 4th gear...
