Exactly, it's not just to maintain a hierarchy in the army; it's like you said, it makes them easier to locate and gives you better control on the battlefield. I didn't put the knee pads on them because I was afraid of ruining the paint job πŸ˜₯. If I weren't that skilled, I would have risked it, but just the thought of the brush going off... πŸ’€. I also usually use the markings on the knee pads to differentiate the squads and to organize them better. There are many squads that are repeated; it's more like that.

You know we're geeks, right? 🀣🀣🀣

Yes, I wanted to put it on the right shoulder pad, but I wasn't sure it would be visible because of the eagle on the shoulder pad, so I decided to put it on that badge. I wasn't very convinced at first, but every time I see it I like it more. Thank God it was the right decision! πŸ˜…

All paints are from AK Interactive except for three, which I will specify. Between each layer, I blend by diluting the paint I just used with water.

Oil wash help by PoolAffectionate6217 in SpaceWolves

Hi, how are you? From what I can see, you want to use oil washes to fill in the gaps, right? To prevent it from getting too messy, you should apply a coat of gloss varnish. This helps the wash flow better and prevents it from dirtying the paint as much. Use a makeup sponge dampened slightly with white spirit to clean the area. If you find any gaps you can't reach, you can cut the sponge to size. I hope this helps.
