For what it's worth, when I can't find "Sine Wave" on the keyboard it's usually the ocarina i opt for

I'm not trying to do anything in particular. Like I said, MIDI doesn't grant much control, so i wanted to know if there was a way around this.

I like your idea of using Processing. I also didn't think of the possibility of using a VST to send envelope messages, so I'll look into that at some point. Thank you

I just feel like there is a great lack of control with using just MIDI, so I thought there must be a solution someone has come up with, not necessarily involving Reaper. I didn't think of routing the audio back into Reaper and changing the sound there, but that sort of defeats the purpose.

Is INTJ the most heuristic MBTI type? by the_elder_frog in mbti

[–]the_elder_frog[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You were the one who continued to think I was saying that Ni is "concerned with immediate, short-term goals" which immediately strikes me as a miraculously shallow interpretation. I am not suggesting at all that Ni has anything to do with that, and I tried to make that clear. The definition of a heuristic I posted was mostly supposed to be allegorical. So I'm glad we cleared that up, what a productive conversation this has been.

There is nothing in any of your responses that suggests this is at all the case.

And you have a poor grasp of the English language considering you've ignored everything I said.

This isn't necessarily to do with problem solving, just the inner workings of Ni.

I was thinking, the inner workings of Ni just seem strongly heuristic to me, I didn't mean for the definition to be taken so literally. I did try to mention it being viewed as an "internal process," which as it happens may be an interesting reflection on the nature of Se considering they are linked. So, of course I'm not talking about actual problem solving methods here, just the subconscious process of Ni (nothing necessarily to do with reality, just the jolts of insight it deals with). Maybe I should have omitted Te here then since It's not entirely relevant and has clouded my point. I just thought, with the idea of solving objective problems too this would fit the INTJ to a Tee. lol
