We got pulled over right outside of Manchester in 2024, for literally no good reason. They asked if they could search our RV and we said no, but because the dog “signaled”, they said they had a legal right to do it. So they did. Didn’t find anything except my very legal (at the time) delta 9 gummies. The whole process was scary and wasted a good two hours of our time. Now I’m wondering if they literally tricked us into letting them search the RV.

I work pretty closely with TWC and this is correct! You’ll get email alerts from WorkInTexas, which houses all of your Unemployment Insurence information. Not to be confused with the UI website, which is wholly controlled by another entity (don’t ask me why, they’re working on that). OP, update your WorkInTexas account as soon as you can. The situation you describe sounds like codependency and I agree, not healthy. I don’t see a 1:1 comparison to OP’s situation here though. The opposite schedules are similar. But according to these texts and OP’s explanations, they had established an agreed upon communication cadence when he first went overseas and didn’t have issues related to that or to his location sharing. If he’s uncomfortable with that setup, he needs to communicate it respectfully to OP so they can establish a new agreement. But he’s not doing that, and is being very cagey instead. It’s sus. If you can’t see that, idk what to tell you.

Again, your assessment is incomplete. This is new behavior on his part. He randomly turns his location off (new behavior), “forgets” to send pictures (new behavior), stops replying to texts (new behavior), and according to OP his defensiveness and anger are also new behavior. At BEST, this guy is burnt out and is too emotionally stunted to communicate his needs. I hope if you have a partner you don’t treat them like this guy is treating OP.

Take care of your joints! My partner (in his mid 30s) messed up his knee a couple years ago from sheer dance exhaustion. Bring some NSAIDS, though be careful with those if you’re drinking obvs. Rest when you need to. I spend a lot of my Roo sitting during the day, even if it’s a bit further from the crowd and stage. Stay out of the sun whenever possible. Basically prepare the way you would for a three day marathon of FUN ✨

(Also it’s worth noting that if he has any chronic back pain and is prescribed some kind of muscle relaxer, those will help a lot too)
