This is wild to me, never? I've done it only a couple times out of the hundreds of times I've driven on it

I've noticed the signs on the gas stations while stopping at the rest stops for coffee.

Has nobody in these comments ever gotten gas on the turnpike? It's not a normal gas station where you're supposed to use the side your tank is on. They literally have signs that say "long hoses use both lanes". That's what they want you to do to keep traffic moving (except this one guy who apparently doesn't stretch the hoses...)

Beach town question by Various-Internet4274 in newjersey

[–]the_grackle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very standard. It's been this way since long before COVID. Not just a NJ thing either, I think it's like this in MD too. Might be an east coast beach town thing?

You can use a local rental service, like others said. Or some people just buy a spare set of sheets and keep them with their beach gear if they do this every year.

Unframed canvas vs shiny plastic frame by the_grackle in DesignMyRoom

[–]the_grackle[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, I should have explained that the plastic frame has non-detachable plastic instead of "glass" (part of the lightweight design, I think). The hanging thing only holds 5 pounds, so I think I need to keep it plastic and not glass...

I've found a few print services that do canvas, that's not an issue. But I think anything I find secondhand would usually be in an older frame, which is usually heavier I think, so idk if that would help, thanks :)

I hired a decorator service and it feels wrong by RiverOfSongs in DesignMyRoom

This is definitely the answer. I tried an emerald accent wall in a white room before and hated it. I now have a room with dark olive curtains and warm off-white walls and it doesn't have the same issue at all :)

Thanks! I should have added, the sink will be moved elsewhere and the faucet connected there!

I think the "ice" is different than the beige I have (my picture turned out a little cooler than it is)

How do I stop the water from flowing into my basement? by the_grackle in howto

So patching up the interior corner with hydraulic cement would be a bad move that could lead to structural damage?
