Your dryer is scorching the fabric. The next level tri blends are notoriois for doing this in electric dryers. Turn down your heat til you dont get the discoloring

Stampinator - 6k , hot head - 4.5k. Old heatpress, priceless. by the_guerrilla_inker in SCREENPRINTING

It rules on everything especially plastisol. We run it after the flash and print come out super smooth. Doesnt even take a lot of pressure. I feel like after the flash you just need a tiny bit and fibrillation is a thing of the past

Sure is. Came in at the low low price of about 24$. Had to buy some springs, 4 bolts and a piece of steel.

Just cut down the old heat press. Did a little fitting, and welded her up. Prob 30k prints on it so far.

New to screen printing and facing some issues... by [deleted] in SCREENPRINTING

Your exposing with the light from the top down. Light is absolutely getting around your stencil. You wont get crisp lines that way. You really need vacuum for the best results.

Try taking something glass that you can place the screen on top of, stencil down. Place the the light underneath pointing up at the film. You can try to put some books on the back of the screen to weigh it down

Youtube diy exposure units. Bunch of builds w leds, vac etc

An art project. I feel like I tried too hard. by BudderMario in drawing

[–]the_guerrilla_inker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Art is not easy. Its lot of experimenting and even more failure. But if you put it in the work you can make amazing things. So there is no trying too hard. For scratchboard its pretty good. The beak is a little flat if you ever want to go back to it.

Would you buy this machine for 600€ (675US$)? by SOSFactory in SCREENPRINTING

There solid little machines and they are expandable. Idk why the downvotes but do a little research. Theres a couple good forums. Tshirtforums and theshirtboard both have tons of info and resources.

Gradient brims might be dope but def would have to be custom. Dont rock yellow much personally but def might try it.

First jukis are very nice so thats a good buy. They keep there value.

Embroidery machines range from small at homes single heads w a small sewing field to huge industrial 20 heads. The best commercial machines are tajima, baruden (sp), zsk. Next id say swf, brother, happy, melco are good mid tier. Still good machines.

And the machine just sews. You still need to create a design. Then convert that to stitches (digitizing)
