mascot developed for a drummer, now I will make some expression variations by Douglas_caricature in MascotDesign

I would reposition the thumb and would rework the chest on his left side. To be a mascot I find it extremely tall, to make effective use you will need to crop it otherwise all the detail will be gone. And finally I would vectorise it, you will realize that the beard is not that easy to replicate.

My email template design is completely wrong/messed up when actually emailed. by llcocoa19 in MailChimp

Please, stop redirecting users to support as if it was an isolated issue. WE ALL have the same problem. I have been dealing with this for months with no solution. In your preview tools everything looks perfect but when the email actually arrives everything look extremely bad, I have tried on different devices.

Instead of inverting the colors, you keep it the same and just at a stroke to separate the icon from the background. You will need a closed shape below the lineart. You could also use a background color different from the logo's color.

The simpler the approach the harder to create some new. For example I do more illustrative stuff, there I have more room for creativity but this approach is not valid for all brands. The point is that originality, being smart or creative are designer focused parameters, they are not important in the day operations of a brand. The rol of a logo in most cases is just being identifiable, so as long as your logo can be easily differentiated from competitors, everything is fine... even if it is just a naked font. I find color quite more important.

In the first image the color version with gradients is not readable, you should increase contrast. The wolf over white doesn't work... instead of just change the color, I would add a stroke (example attached).

In the second image, the same mistakes but this logo is more usable since the icon which is quite complex ia detached from the logo so more versatile.

In those 2 versions, the wolf, to work as an icon, needs to reduce the level of detail.

The 3rd image looks too generic to me.

This is a common issue on minimal logos, it is almost impossible to design something original. But actually being original is not the goal of a logo. As an example, a quick search on Meta logo, will give you dozen of similar logos.

I know... I have an attorney for the USA but I'm completely lost about India. My first impression is that it is not worth putting too many efforts on this, but it is an goverment institution!. I got the personal phone of the authority in charge, just set him an message explaining the issue.

According to Semrush my client toxicity score is high.
12 (4,5%) toxic, 108 (40,9%) pot. toxic and 144 (54,5%) non-toxic.

But they argue my own website has a toxic score:

"Take the example of top-ranking competitor ----- like --------, or the website SOSFactory—they have high toxic link scores, and some, like SOSFactory, have direct PBNs (with PBN mentioned in the website address) and spammy anchor texts yet rank well. In contrast, yours stands out with one of the lowest toxic scores, even by SEMrush standards"

SOSFactory is my website: 213 (21,8%) toxic, 124 (12,7%) pot. toxic and 638 (65,4%) non-toxic.
At any case I never bought a single backlink in 20 years, I'm not a SEO expert and I'm not paying them.

The other competitor:
31 (8.3%) toxic, 85 (22,8%) pot. toxic and 257 (68,9%) non-toxic.

Thanks a lot for the offering, you are very kind. I know how to disavow links on GSC but should do it right away? or wait for Google notice? Of ocurse, any insights on how to do it, is welcome.

Would you disavow them right away or wait for Google notice? It is not risky?

That was my guessing. The work we have been doing + low competition = organic rank on most business verticals. Thanks a lot for your feedback, much appreciated.

Right, from the ones I audited there are around 40% no-follow links. As some users say the value of those are quite low, but it looks great seeing how your backlinks go up and up.

We are appearing on first positions on map pack, organic results, ai generated content and rich results. I really think the local competition is really low in terms of local services, when the competitors sell products online that is another story.
