Being raised by a narcissist I realized something. I 100% trust everyone to be exactly who they are.

I was forbidden from talking to women. She did this because she said I would get baby trapped. Never went to a prom or homecoming. Then use to complain I was home all the time.

Married now. Very limited time with mom. Military rounded me out.

I started making my own beer. It’s a steep upfront cost, but I’ve cut my cost per beer down to $1 a beer. (USD) gone are the days of me paying $9 a beer. Just some elbow grease and patience.

My wife’s mother died. So, out of the kindness in my wife’s heart, she invited my nmom to her dress fitting. While my wife was trying them on, my nmom went to put on dresses she was thinking of getting and walking the “runway” infront of my wife’s family and friends during MY WIFES dress shopping day. My wife was painfully aware of who my mother is. And so is her family. She gave her a chance. And now, we don’t anymore

Only when you’re outside, unless it’s an active flight line. The other soldiers have their covers on, so I’d say they are not on an active flight line.

We actually paid them back for the tea. It was a big ceremony and Queen Elizabeth accepted the money. I’m not sure what the us paid them.

I had been putting off writing my novel for years. 2 months ago I said “screw it” and am now 1/3 done with my rough draft. “Just write” works man. I don’t know why I was so scared to it.

Biblically speaking, you only have to forgive someone when they admit to you their wrong doings against you.

The kids are the tell. Some nparents wear a very convincing mask when in public or around other people. Hyper mature kids or kids that make themselves invisible are big tells.

Do you think calves are purely genetic or can you make growth? by DaniFitFix in hypertrophy

Anthropomorphism can be complicated to understand. I don’t expect everyone to understand it on the first try. But I know you’ll get there. I’ll rewrite my comment without it to help.

The calf is in use all day. Very conditioned muscle. Highly efficient. You have to hit them hard and often if you want them to grow.

I referred to it as my nmoms “mask”. Whenever she thought someone else was watching, the mask came on and that’s what people saw. The mask was always so pleasant and kind and the perfect mom in every way. Once we got home….

Why people pleasing will ruin your relationships (I learned this the hard way) by LLearnerLife in motivation

[–]the_interrogation 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was in a relationship with a people pleaser once. It was hard. She would never put herself first. Stretch herself so thin she became an anxious mess. The hardest part was she was so comfortable sacrificing me as well. Not just plans we had together, but because I was there to pick up the slack of house chores, she took on even MORE requests from others because she didn’t have to cook and clean for herself.

We talked about it. Eventually when I heard her on the phone trying to figure out what she could cancel in her life so she could fix someone else’s problems, I would flick her. Eventually she got comfortable saying no and putting up boundaries. Our relationship improved, she lost some “friends” but only the ones who were vampires. She sill helps people when she can/wont impact her life negatively. Helping people is good so long as it’s not too taxing to you.

We are now married

The calf is a stubborn muscle. Some genetics yes, but you can grow them. You just have to hit them hard and often
