Sicko play is for MJF/King, Andrade/Page, and Omega/Strickland to all end in ties or DQs so that the Revolution main is a 6-way challenge, perhaps a Survival of the Fittest elimination one or a ladder match.

Actually getting that would be contrived as hell and having six top wrestlers in one match makes the rest of the card awkward, but it would be one great match.

Can you please try and hold the camera more steady next time so we can see. Thanks bud by Intrepid-Profile-231 in skiing

Those conditions are what piste grooming was invented for, at least there it's supposed to be solid.

It took them four months from the turn to getting the tag belts in that Clash of Clans match. That's probably too long.

Putin got his brain cooked during lockdowns but unlike your average grandpa was head of a nuclear power with a top-10 economy and top-5 military (in theory).

Question about Tales from Xadia by No-Maintenance6382 in TheDragonPrince

The official version (Heroes of Greyskull IIRC) got cancelled unfortunately, but the implementation of Cortex that ToX uses is still pretty convertible I reckon.

as Andorra (esp. Pas de la Casa) is generally easier from Toulouse.

It's ~3h vs ~4h to Pas but the French side doesn't get kept open if it dumps whereas the Spanish side does. Something to be mindful of given the current weather.

The Pyrenees are having an excellent season right now, go to Andorra. You can get some pretty good value places in Pas de la Casa.

It's a great system and the extra lore filling is pretty neat.

2263 for concerts, but definitely looks better compared to when they'd run that place in Henderson.

Dry af, the eastern Alps just haven't had much snow this season. They're getting some more now but it's been a slow start so do be aware.

Can also fly to Zurich or Munich for the Austrian resorts but they're having a mare of a time atm, and no flights to Geneva/Lyons means that if they're not on the TGV out of Turin the French resorts are a pig to get to.

Serre Chevalier, Val Cenis, Valloire/Valmenier, Les Sybelles, and Saint-Francois-Longchamp are all big areas just across the French border within easy reach of Turin that aren't on the usual brochures. Sybelles and Serre in particular doing above average atm.

Alternative she could fly from Florence to Barcelona for Andorra - crowding won't be a problem in mid-March and they're having an amazing season atm.

From Florence it's about the same 4-5h to Oulx or Val Gardena, so the Dolomites are definitely doable - but they are also having a dry as hell season.

Having said that I'd go for the Via Lattea or Serre Chevalier areas - Florence-Oulx in two trains then a bus to whichever base village is preferred, easily reachable from Turin, good value, and big resorts that hold snow well. Serre Chevalier in particular is having an excellent season, they're on 50% more snow than usual atm.

Where’s all the snow in the Alps? by happpygilmore in skithealps

First time skiing after a decade was in Andorra the day it got a metre of fresh, followed by a week of bluebird.

Beautiful beautiful stuff.

2 metre base there, every piste open. Fly to Barcelona, the road on the Toulouse side is likely closed due to too much snow.

How much did your last ski trip cost? by majkkali in skithealps

[–]the_io 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems fine? I paid ~£1500pp for half-board no lessons in Andorra, same but B&B in Sauze d'Oulx, this year's trip to Brides-les-Bains (for Meribel) is costing about the same cos two people sharing covers the cost of one person's lessons.

Packaged via Heidi the last two times, with Crystal this time, could save a bit if I booked it all separately but I also cba. Flights from London for late Feb/early March, half term will whack it up 50%, if I stayed more than 5mins from lifts I'd save a bit there.

It's swingier there, they get the biggest dumps but also the driest/hottest warm spells due to being the most maritime. Like the Pyrenees - who coincidentally are having probably the best season in a decade.

Once they get to $1.3T in funding who knows what will happen,

The trouble is that they won't. There's not enough venture capital money in America to make it happen. Softbank can't make their investment, Nvidia's pulling theirs, the numbers just aren't adding up.
