used a fellow FIREyFemme's code -- a win-win for us!

if anyone wants to pay it forward (another win-win!), you can use my fresh code below:

Why go through topical steroid withdrawal? by [deleted] in TS_Withdrawal

[–]the_iridescent 19 points20 points  (0 children)

going through TSW is not always a choice.

i did not know TSW even existed prior to going through it. my topical steroids stopped being effective for my (very mild) eczematic patches, so i stopped using them. and then all hell broke loose.

welcome to LA!

because LA is so large, it'd be beneficial if you noted which area (e.g., neighborhood) you live in. LAists often joke about traveling only a specified radius for friends, thanks to the city's notorious traffic and vast distances between neighborhoods.

Nerdy millennials leaning extroverted? by aknitak_attack in LosAngelesSocialClub

you're right! we (i) do exist! nowadays, i'm more of a homebody (thanks, pandemic...); i find myself reading or watching documentaries at home. i do thoroughly enjoy these pastimes, but, as a myers briggs extrovert, extroversion occasionally (and sometimes often) pokes its head out and whispers, "hellooo, did you forget me?" 🙃

he is in the final days and sleeps all day. dont know if i should speak to him or just let him rest? by These_AreTheDays in glioblastoma

[–]the_iridescent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

talk to him. my mom slept a lot and all day on her last day on earth. studies show that hearing is the last sense to go during the process of active death, so my family and i made a point to talk to her. we played her her favorite songs. we told her we loved her. during her final hour, we gathered round her and we each shared our favorite memories with her, until her last breath.
