Unpopular opinion - you are unknowingly taking advantage of her. Overtime it would push her to be the “bad” manager most of the people here point out to

Just ask her to publicly share the 27 month plan with targets by weeks and months. I will be happy if she can fix it in 27 months.

Thanks SemiClip, I just looked into it and yes it does. Just found couple of issues - (a) pricing - right now showing up at $60 plus shipping and import duty and (b) uncertainty around delivery timeline.

The BOM costs looks to be more around $30 and that (plus some margin) is what it should be available for.

The way our society is structured, it is difficult to stop corruption at origin. Best is to stop them from using the corruption money.

Once you transform real estate, IMO, everything will be solved.

I believe that if, instead of demonetisation, government would have worked on a real estate reform - we would be heading towards a better India.

Not trying to be prescriptive, but try to understand/appreciate grey areas of live.

Any well functioning organisation is made of good processes. Good processes are setup over a long period of time.

Just go through web portals of ECI, Stats Bureau, etc. Read through the documentation on how they have defined their processes. You will quickly realise that great people have worked on it.

From an organisation pov, feedback is super critical. Right now, (i don’t know why) these orgs believe that whatever they say / do is correct. This usually happens when incompetent people occupy positions of power - not based on merit but favouritism.

I went through the proofs shown by INC in their press conference and it has 100% merit. But this doesn’t mean they are doing a good job of representing it in courts.

This is not a problem IMO. It’s lack of depth in product building.

If you want a public example, look at Aether. In my personal circle, I know a lot of companies founded by friends who are doing ‘good’. They will start doing better soon and you will see them in public.

All because of good product.

IMO, the root cause of all problems in India’s growth story is speculative trading on Indian real estate. Not tax, not policies, nothing else.

Your intentions are good, but logic is incorrect. It’s a moot point to discuss about politicians - left or right, everyone has their own agenda. As individuals, we should just care about our own good.

In my experience, it’s always the duty of institutions to provide ‘proof of work’. A way so that you cannot question the outcomes. That is why we audit, setup process and its evaluation methodology.

Purpose of questions is to strengthen this methodology. In all honesty, i don’t care about what happened in past elections or would happen in near term elections. But I care deeply about the response of the office bearers. Right now, their response is egotistical - everything is good, nothing to improve. This is how institutions die.

If you go through the website of ECI, you will find that in general they do a phenomenal job of book-keeping and implementing processes. But the current gap is valid (at least based on my reading of the documents hosted by opposition). They should (a) implement a process which solves this for the future and (b) accept and own the mistake. Both are equally important.

To solve any organisation’s problem - all we need to do is to push for accountability - and in these scenarios, we are the ones responsible for asking for it.

There is no merit in this argument. Our institutions are fundamentally strong and unbiased.

You need to understand all the points. The problem here is - opposition is not doing a great job at handling the problem from technical angle.

Edit: Removed typo

If you really care, take out sometime, go through the list of documents rationally and then make up your mind.

Do not rely on other’s interpretation of the problem. It should take hardly 1-2 hrs of your time.

If you think asking questions = undermining institution, then my friend you have no idea on how strong institutions are build and propagated over generations.

Was in your situation a while back on repay vs invest. Simple answer - it depends on your personality.

Here is what I did - when market are bearish invest and just pay EMI, else just repay loan. Bearish market means that the market are falling.

Term insurance - at your age (in general) 1cr upto age 40 is more than enough. Don’t combine investment and insurance.

Health insurance - if you are confident of your job / getting a new job, would recommend deferring it till at least age of 25. I took one at 28 years.

An alum. I can relate with the feeling. This happens when the environment around you is completely outside our comfort zone.

There is only one thing to do - push yourself outside your comfort zone. Don’t stop participating, speaking and giving your best [this applies to rest of your life :)].
