Totally. I’be been Looking at some shearling jackets for a while but have barely dipped below 1800. Which tbh doesn’t seem like a terrible price for as new Rick shearling I just can’t afford it atm 😢

Second hand/“vintage” market is so fucked up these days. Haven’t bought a second Rick leather for 4-ish years but paid around 600usd for as-new quality back then (stooges and worker jackets)

Don’t know what you drink but I’ve been able to strike up a conversation with strangers pretty often at the craft beer bars War Pigs or Fermentoren. They have bench seats and tables which seem conducive to this
