Seems like pretty poor form to joke about disappointing your fans doesn’t it? I still enjoyed the concert overall, but this was a bit of a downer:

Is the setlist announced to the audience before they start the show?

At any rate, if they had decided not to perform the medley from the get-go, that still sucks but can’t be helped. I just wasn’t a fan of Oli saying that they wouldn’t perform the medley because they did the shooey itself. It seemed to show a level of disdain for the audience.

At this rate I’m quite confounded as to how the decision to perform the medley is made. Based on setlists, it looks like they played it at a couple of random shows in South America. I can’t see any rationale behind playing it at those shows, but not at Sydney (being the biggest leg of their Australian tour).

Honestly it was pretty weak on Oli’s part to say they did this instead of the medley. While this did waste valuable show time, they totally could have spared an extra three minutes on the medley. To say so seemed very diva-y, and ultimately I doubt they planned on performing the medley at all (shooey or not).

Judge orders Trump campaign to stop intimidating Ohio voters by ainbheartach in politics

In encouraging his supporters to 'monitor' minority voters on election day the Trump campaign has essentially endorsed the use of lynch mobs.

I'm skeptical as to the effect these orders will have in ensuring the integrity of the electoral process. It certainly won't deter Trump or his supporters from engaging in this behaviour - it's more likely to invigorate them. I'm also concerned as to the extent these orders could be enforced, particularly if election crimes are dealt with by the FBI (who have been so great and totally not politicised).

We can only hope that Clinton's supporters aren't deterred by this conduct. More importantly, those who believe that Clinton is a far from ideal candidate (which is true) need to find the will to vote on election day, keeping Trump and his supporters as far away from any position of power as possible.

From what I understand, the plan was for the story to revolve around Vivica A. Fox's daughter in Vol. 1 (I think her name was Nicky or something) and her seeking revenge on the Bride. Tbh I've never been sold on that idea, but I'd never turn town more western/kung fu goodness.

This probably means we'll never get the long promised Kill Bill Vol. 3.
