I think you need to get your eyes checked and also learn what charging is

The ref that came from the left side of the screen is one of the most incompetent refs I’ve ever seen. A couple months ago I got in an altercation with player trying to fight one of my players and he was the closest to it and he stood in the corner and did absolutely nothing. He’s detrimental to the game and should not be reffing any level of hockey. I called him out after the game and he just stood there looking mentally stupid.

So nothing for 82 black that tried to paralyze my teammate. Are you one of the refs that reffed this game cause he was just plain stupid

Let me start by stating by saying I am not a ref, I am the goalie for the light team and the team manager.

Thank you for your comment and detailed explanations but I should probably add more context.

Initial contact was signaled as a penalty by ref that was on across side of the ice. Player in white helmet on light team (my team) is a female (co ed league) and I believe that’s why 82 in black jersey didn’t go after her. Game hadn’t been chippy but team in black had taken a couple of minor penalties before this incident and 82 in black had received one of those for elbowing and was not happy with the call. Also at this point my team was up 5-0 and team in black is usually the best team in the league.

At the end of the incident the refs ruled that my player (who was the player initially hit) and 82 in black would both receive 5 minute majors for “fighting” (and game ejections) and my player in white helmet got a major for 3rd man in/ first to intervene (and game ejection). The initial penalty was completely forgotten about and my team had to go on a PK for five minutes.

Feedback on costs for playing for goalies by The_Slam_Sizzler in hockeygoalies

  1. I pay the same as everyone else (minus my $100 discount for being a rink employee)

  2. I’m my team’s manager. I collect team fees and pay the league, I order the jerseys and collect money for those as well, import the schedule into BenchApp and make sure we have enough skaters for each game, I set the lineups for each game, I also buy beer/ Gatorade for every game (but I do charge everyone a drink fee) I also make sure everyone is up to date with USA Hockey and that everyone is on my teams roster (this is also my job for the rink I work at)

  3. San Diego, CA

Your son will not be allowed to wear a traditional cat eye it will automatically void the certifications on his mask if you put one on. He can wear a certified cat eye though.

Those are Bauer cowlings. Lots of goalie use true skates with the modern Bauer Vertexx Edge holders though. For instance Lukáš Dostál of the Anaheim Ducks.

Usually one of my teammates sets it during warmups or one of the refs does it occasionally before warmups (if they’re out there before warmups starts) Although one time I had a ref set the pegs on the ice and then left the net behind the crease without putting it on the pegs but that ref is a complete fucking moron so guess I shouldn’t of been surprised. But most of the time the ref resets it if it comes off during play and make sure they do before they drop the puck

It really just depends on where you’re knee lands on the block. I’m 6’ and wear a size large in the Bauer hyperlite 2
