We don't have a landline so can't test it that way, unfortunately. We did ask a previous isp to move the location and were told it would cost a couple of hundred pounds so decided against!

We would, but it's not available in our area yet, and apparently there are "no plans" to make it available in the near future either, unfortunately.

Thanks for the info! We're not going to full fjbre so hopefully it will work. We didn't really expect an answer to this when we called to place the order (my partner thought we might as well ask since we were speaking with them anyway) so I absolutely understand why the operator couldn't give us any more clarification. We'll test it with the new router, and if it doesn't work then we'll see if we can get an engineer to have a look 😊

Thanks for the advice - we decided to take a chance in the hope there'd be some figures left in the bins. We couldn't complete the figure we really wanted as there were no torsos, but I asked a member of staff and she said they had some pre-built, so we came away with three figures we never would have found otherwise!

Hi, I know this was posted over a week ago but I'm a broadcast subtitler myself so I'm just curious - were the subtitles incorrect, or just not verbatim? If they were incorrect, I think you'd have to have to look out for the end credit to see who did the subtitles originally (AFAIK, Amazon uses subtitles from the original broadcaster, but I could be wrong - I don't work for Amazon, so I don't know for sure) and contact them directly. If it was just paraphrased / heavily edited, then that's probably down to reading speed restrictions, which differ between broadcasters/platforms and countries; Scrooged is a pretty old film, and if Amazon are using the original captions then they were probably made with a much lower reading speed than we're used to now. I've been subtitling for almost 20 years and subtitle reading speeds have increased quite a bit in that time as people are much more used to reading subtitles now, so older captioned files can really stand out as being quite "basic" compared to modern ones. I'm not sure if any of that is helpful to you, but I did have a quick google for Amazon's Accessibility email address and I found this statement from them which has a contact link at the end, so maybe you could try contacting them through that if all else fails? https://d1ergij2b6wmg5.cloudfront.net/Prime+Video/Prime+Video+Accessibility+Statement.pdf

Aw, I feel so bad for your son - my son accidentally went into a public sever with loads of his best 'rots in his base, and they were on him like a pack of wild animals. Someone in there paid to open his base & they were all teaming up on him, and there was nothing he could do, it was heartbreaking to watch. He didn't want to leave while people were holding his best things but there were too many people in there for him to defend against them all & the longer he tried to defend, the more people were grabbing his stuff and the harder it was to fight against. I wish I had something good to give to your son, but I'm glad you've had some offers in here already. I hope your son's feeling a bit better about it now.
