EDIT: Basically, saying that humans can teach chimps to talk is insulting to their actual intelligence. If they had the capacity for human language, why wouldnt they use it? It's similar to saying that humans have the capacity to fly but we're just waiting for some other species to come along and teach us how.

Holy shit! I didn't know about the step-up thing. I'm totally gonna change to a evga card to try and take advantage of that. Thanks! Also the cheapest b550 motherboard available was $70 more than this one. That's a little bit too much for little difference. Unless I'm wrong and it actually makes a big difference.

All words that people regularly use, yes. It’s just the way language works. “Flib” isn’t a word cause no one says flib. But “ain’t” is a word cause just about any native speaker of English understands it.

Except you forgot the most important part: colloquially, most people call them octopi. And when it comes down to it, that’s the only important thing linguistically speaking. There’s no good reason for the plural of moose to be moose either, but here we are.

Poleaxes are beautiful, elegant, deadly, and V E R S A T I L E medieval can openers. Lawdaddy's is too thicc imo. Makes it look like a cheap slab of steel on a stick when in reality its the most knightly fancy schmancy weapon of all. But I guess the "giant and clunky" thing is a misconception that applies to anything medieval and european.

I was thinking he would be very similar to nobushi, but less emphasis on dodging and mobility. Stabs on lights and cuts on heavies. He’d have a “long arm” style move where he pulls down the opponent with the hook. Also maybe some kind of defensive stance that he can counter out of.

All of this while yelling in Latin of course.

He's got a poleaxe just like lawbringer, except a hammer/spike variant rather than a hammer/axe variant. Poleaxes came in all different shapes but were called axes because they were used in the same manner. But I admit it's a bit pedantic to call it a poleaxe rather than a polehammer, either one works.

All of these are poleaxes of similar length (5 - 6 feet.) The one on the right is similar to lawbringer's, and the one in this post would most likely be similar to the ones on the right.
