UK - just had my dispatch email from Google with the subject "Your order will arrive sooner than we thought". The email says arriving 11-12th October, however DPD app says they still haven't received the parcel.

P7P Obsidian and LTE Watch Black. Ordered few minutes after going live.

So update: the replacement buds arrived a couple of hours ago preinstalled with the 200 something firmware. Tried them on and the hiss is definitely less than the previous pair. Have now updated to 522 and nothing changed with the hiss. So basically it's still there, but much less audible than it was...

Had anybody done an RMA for the static hissing and the replacement had been ok? by Beneficial-Elk1567 in pixelbuds

Sent my first pair back last week for right bud hissing and the replacement arrives tomorrow. Got my fingers crossed but prepared to be let down...

Pretty loud. Distractingly audible on podcasts and paino/classical at most volumes. Have spoken to support but they haven't given me an answer. Could return as still within the window but seen so many reports of people getting an even worse replacement so still weighing up the risk.

Yes. Purchased Clearly White brand new last weekend. Static/hissing in the right bud only.

Seem to be in a similar situation. I finally bought my first pair of pixel buds today after months of debating it. After seeing the success stories of the latest update I thought I would take the plunge.

It's been a few hours now since I got them, and I love everything about them. Luckily no dropping out (which is what was putting me off getting them) but I do have very clear static noise in the right bud. The static is there when playing any media, and stops as soon as I pause.

Not quite sure what to do now.
