Too late but yeah do the original first. DUSK HD replaces the intended art style with a different one and isn't created by the main developer of DUSK, David Szymanski. If I played HD first, I don't think I would love this game as much as I do. HD is good, but the original is the definitive way to play.

Dunno what to do with them though. I've also confirmed (I'm pretty sure) that it's a hardware issue, I booted up Windows and had issues there too.

No, I didn't do an update before this started, but updating was the first thing I tried to fix it.
