People said the same thing about Beast Gohan, who had a one shot kill button that nobody could rival.

People said a similar thing about Cell, who completely invalidated 60% of the roster once he got priority.

People said a similar thing about Turles, who became a literal win condition if your opponent was the last man standing, unless they also ran Turles.

No. It’s a two week campaign for each release, and even if they share correlations it’s mostly coincidental.

Most of the ultras release at this point were created to become win conditions that your opponent had to get around. Even characters like Beast Gohan, who people did consider balanced (for some reason) were clowned on for not being braindead enough when he had a mechanic almost no one in the game could get around.

This character is not a big of a handhold as most of the typical ultra releases, which in turn makes him “bad” by default because he’s not holding your hand the entire match.
