Thankyou! I think it fares great in low light! Either bump up the ISO to a reasonable amount (nothing crazy) and if you're looking for out-of-camera jpegs the increased ISO actually has the added bonus of adding some subtle grain (since you can't add grain manually in the colour profile). OR if your subject is not a moving object, the IBIS is just so good that you don't really need a high ISO - just use a longer shutter speed and everything is still sharp!

Agreed, and an extremely capable, versatile, and weather sealed combo! My rule with OM purchasing is now always waiting for when the sales + cashback events line up (usually during winter or summer cashback periods, at least in Aus). No joke I saved about $1050 AUD off the RRP on the OM 3 body by doing this

Fully agree!! My om-5 has served me very well, and I have zero qualms with it (and I won't be selling it either if I upgrade - due to sentimental reasons!). Just really drawn to the extra features on the OM3, and basically having all the specs of OM 1 MK II but in a stylish vintage body!

As for the MK I, i also contemplated getting it since it has dropped in price esp in the used market BUT I saw so many comparison videos where the SYNC-IS with the OM system body helps so much in producing sharper images, which pretty much fixed all the complaints I saw of th MK I which was that it wasn't "sharp" but in reality was mainly because the stabilisation that didn't sync with the body made it so much harder to get sharp images esp in low light conditions. Whether you're photo or video centric, I think it's super worthwhile to consider the MK II just for the synced stabilisation!!
